Title: Why?!
Summary: Fai asks Kurogane serious questions regarding the Tokyo and Seresu Arc. And of course there is spoilers. Set between Nihon and Clow country arcs. ONESHOT! Fai's POV!
I wasn't ready to ask the ninja. But I needed to know the answer to these questions. I hid in the kitchen, hoping he wouldn't find me. "He isn't here.", I told myself. All of a sudden I heard his voice. " Who isn't here?", he asked. It seems that I had jinxed myself and now I am forced to ask him all of the questions I have.
"No it's nothing", I told him shaking a bit.
"Are you sure?", He asked.
" I am very sure", I replied.
I saw that he was leaving to the living room and without thinking I grabbed his hand. " Kuro- can I ask you some stuff?", I said. He only replied by saying "sure".
"Why did you save me back in Tokyo when my wish was to die?", I began to ask.
All he did was just stand there, waiting for me to say something.
"Why did you save me back in Tokyo!?", I repeated.
And once again he just stayed there, not saying one word.
"Why didn't you let me kill Ashura myself!?", I yelled suddenly feeling my eyes water.
I was starting to get mad since he wouldn't answer any of my questions.
"Answer me!!!!!!", I began yelling at him.
"Why do you always bother to stick with me even though I cause you pain!?", I continued.
"I saved you in Tokyo because you were dying. I didn't want you to die!", He finally said.
"In Seresu, I killed Ashura because he was kicking your ass and if I didn't do anything he would have killed you!!!!", He continued.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It felt like it was just all a dream. But why would he want to save me from death?
" B-bu-t-t w-h-h-y do yy--oou sti-ck w-it-h me?", I asked choking on my tears.
"I do it cause I love you", He told me.
"How can you prove it. That you are not lying?", I asked, unsure of what to say.
All of a sudden he pulled me into a giant embrace.
" Now, stop crying. It makes your face less cute than it already is.", He said drying my tears.
" I love you Kurogane.", I said. I really do.
