Surprisingly I have a second story out now, YAY! Didn't think I'd have anything to put up so soon after the first, but a Halloween Holiday plot bunny hopped right into my head. So enjoy and don't forget to review.

Nami's POV

When we stopped at the town of Kabocha for supplies, I'd hoped it would be a quick stop and we could be on our way. I should have guessed that with our crew it would be impossible.

After making sure everybody knew exactly what we needed to get while we were here I passed out the money and told them to be back in time for lunch.

Before anyone could stop them, Luffy, Chopper, and Ussop all rushed off into the bustling crowd screaming about adventures. Everybody else separated to go about their tasks and gather the necessary supplies.

Later on back at the ship everyone but the 'idiot trio' had found everything we needed and were ready to head back out. Right on cue the other three come rushing up yelling about something the whole way over.

After calming them down enough to get the story out of them we find out that there is going to be some sort of festival later that night with candy and fireworks and costumes and could we please stay the night, please, please, please.

Deciding it couldn't hurt to stay one night (and completely ignoring three pairs of puppy dog eyes beaming full blast) we headed back into town to experience the wonders of this 'Halloween Festival. I mean how bad could a festival with candy and small kids turn out?

Turns out, when you're a Straw-hat pirate, participating in any kind of festival or celebration is a really bad idea. Having to deal with a rubber captain with an endless supply of energy is one thing. Dealing with said captain on a sugar rush is infinitely worse.

Add in an equally hyperactive lying sniper and adorable doctor and you have the makings of a disaster of epic proportions. Through the course of the night, the three of them had managed to scarf down at least six bags of candy between them without anyone the wiser.

With boundless energy and enthusiasm they bounced from one ride to another laughing and screaming with reckless abandon. They ate, they played, and they just didn't stop!

Eventually we made it to the last attraction they hadn't been on in the whole festival, the Haunted House. Luffy was all for it, Ussop and Chopper not so much. But Luffy is Luffy, and Luffy usually gets what Luffy wants so into the haunted house we went.

Predictably Luffy laughed, Ussop screamed along with Brook, and poor Chopper passed out halfway through and had to be carried out. Franky was too busy critiquing the poor skills of the carpentry work and Robin strolled along without a care in the world. Sanji was too busy trying to comfort me (I was not scared at all) to pay attention to anything around him. Zoro had of course been lost somewhere along the way.

At the end of the house we found Zoro who had somehow made his way out before the rest of us. Luffy wanted to go through all the rides again to the enthusiastic response from his two newly revived partners in crime, but before another word could be said they promptly passed out in the dirt.

Turns out the all the sugar they'd had in their system had finally worked itself out after hours of nonstop going. They were scooped up and everyone headed back to the ship for some well-deserved sleep before having to leave in the morning.

If we ever come near this island again I'll be sure to avoid it like the plague. There is only so much energy you can handle in one go without seriously contemplating the benefits of murder.
