sam walked into the base. it had been about three days since the autobots last win, and they were looking very showed up, finally making sideswipe happy, and they both got lamborghini alt. modes. sam had an idea to get tribes moral up. he quickly ran to optimus prime, who picked him up and listened very carefully.
that evening before sam had to go home, optimus called a big meeting. everyone on base was there. "i have noticed that moral is low around the base, so to strengthen it, we will be giving gifts to randomly selected bots. the bots will be selected by sam witwicky and diamond.
no trading, and no telling anyone what you got your secret gift receiver."
Diamond immediately pulled out a hat. it was stuffed with papers. Diamond and sam each pulled out a slip of blue paper. they then looked at one slip, and then the other. they walked over to optimus and whispered in his audio receptors. optimuses eyes grew wide. "you did not tell me they were doing this!" he whispered.
Diamond merely smiled. she had invited the decepticons to do this herself. optimus walked away muttering something about brothers and bothers. the next bot they walked up to was ironhide. when they told him, he went into a screaming rage. he left yelling something about revenge.
Jazz was next. sam drew these two went over to jazz and whispered the results in his audio receptors. jazz immediately walked out, getting very red in the face. all the mechs in the room wondered who had been chosen for him to give a gift to.
the next mech to go was sideswipe. he listened than walked out. in the hallway, they heard lots of laughing, and they guessed who it was. sunstreaker got his person, than walked out, hitting sideswipe on the way to their room.
sam and one other bot hadn't been chosen yet, a new recruit named bluestreak. Diamond loved listening to him. he could talk for the longest time without stopping. she was picked to give him a gift. that made it even worse. he was her friend. then she realized that she could just get him something small, like a souvenir. with that in mind, she headed off to the store.
sideswipe had been chosen to give a gift to ratchet. he decided on another larger wrench as a joke. that way, ratchet wouldn't hit anyone with it, or break it. plus his reaction would be funny. that was enough reasoning to make him go to the store.
bluestreak had to give a gift to sideswipe. he thought long and hard. than he decided to get sideswipe something to use in pranks. he headed off to the store.
ratchet started thinking hard once he was in his room. the day of the gift giving was three ays from then. what was he going to do? the door to his room slid open. ratchet turned around to find a gift on the floor. he picked it up. the tag on it said: to wheeljack. i hope you like it. from ratchet. Ratchet was wondering who put it there. he scanned the contents. inside was a little toy robot, the kind that was able to fix whoever owned it. ratchet smiled. he ripped off the tag and wrote a new one. this one said: to wheeljack from ratchet. at least you wont have to come to the medbay so much now!
meanwhile, all the other bots were at the store avoiding the other bots's holoforms. they had all met at the door. they went in different directions once in. if one saw another bot, they went the opposite way. that was how the first day was spent.
