Maddys POV

Rhydian and I were sat on my couch, I don't know why but he seemed disturbed like something was wrong with him.

"Rhydian?"

"Rhydian?" I asked again

"What? Yes, no, sorry. I just got lost in my day dream!"

"what's wrong?" I ask

"Nothing, I'm fine, I jus-"

He was cut off by a loud bang, which sounded like it came from outside, Rhydian had asked me to stay inside but of course I wouldn't listen.

Rhydians POV

I heard the bang and sprang to my feet, I told Maddy to stay inside, but of course she didn't listen to me. I opened the door to find nothing but a turned over bin and a few bin bags sprawled on the floor.

"We better get this cleared up before mam gets back!"

"Your right!" I agree with Maddy and clear up the mess, but something was wrong, even when I went into Maddys something felt wrong, something was out of place but I didn't know what.

We went back inside and Maddy got me a drink, she sat down on the sofa and rested her head on my lap, she'd never done that before, and then I found myself gently stroking her hair.

Her small delicate hands were resting on her leg, her hair was so soft it felt like melted chocolate. I stopped stroking her hair and took hold of her hand.

"What are you doing?"

"I just thought th-"

"I'm only messing!"

"Oh thank God for that!"

Phew, i thought she didn't like me or something! Her chocolatey brown eyes glistened in the dim lighting in the living room, her parents were out at some dinner or something is it was just me and her, alone, together.

Maddys POV

I can't believe it, Rhydian took my hand! I didn't know he felt like this, I mean sure he's handsome and tall and blonde and his blue eyes shimmer in the light but how could someone like him like someone like me!

"Rhydian?"

"Yes?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Yes, any-"

Again Rhydian was cut off by another bang but this time louder, the first time was just some bins but for some reason I new it wasn't bins this time. Rhydian and I sniffed the air, someone, another wolfblood was outside, in our territory.

Rhydians POV

I knew from the moment I got here something was wrong, something was out of place, but it turns out nothing was out of place but someone was in the wrong place.
