Storm Mulder was awake in her room in the middle of the night. The small toddler had brown hair, which fell into her eyes, and green eyes, which she got from her father. The young girl also had freckles that went across her nose, which she got from her mother.

Her parents were down the hallway fast asleep. Storm was sitting in the middle of the floor holding a stuffed fox close to her while she had a book open on her lap. The small girl was pretend reading to her toy.

After about an hour of reading and playing, Storm's mother, Dana Scully walked into her daughter's room. Scully stood around 5'4" tall, and she had red hair that hung down to her shoulders with blue eyes.

The small girl looked up at her mother and went back to reading to her stuffed fox. The older woman walked over to her daughter and picked her up.

"Storm you need to sleep. It's three in the morning," Scully gently scolded. Storm mumbled unhappily as she looked at her mother.

Scully went over to her daughter's changing table and laid her on it. Storm whined as her mother took her PJ bottoms off and changed her diaper.

When Scully was done changing and redressing Storm, she threw the diaper away in the garbage and put her daughter back in her bed. Storm started to cry.

"Knock it off. It's night time," Scully scolded. Storm whined again as her mother tucked into bed. The older woman kissed her daughter's forehead and stood up.

"Night Mama," Storm mumbled. Scully smiled at her daughter and left the room. Storm waited for about ten minutes, then got out of bed again.

Down the hallway Scully was snuggling into her husband, Fox Mulder. Mulder stood around 6', has short brown hair, with green eyes, along with a constant, five o'clock shadow. The older man snored softly as his wife snuggled into him.

Scully smiled happily at her husband. The woman had everything she dreamed of. A loving and supportive husband, a child of her own, and a place to call home. As Scully started to fall asleep, she heard her daughter awake in the other room again.

"Mulder," Scully gently woke her husband up. The older man yawned and wrapped his arms around his wife. As he started to fall back asleep, Scully spoke again.

"Can you please go put Storm back to bed baby. I already tried and she's up playing again," Scully explain. Mulder yawned again and nodded as he pulled away from his wife. Scully smiled and gave Mulder a quick kiss.

The small toddler was getting into her toy box, when her father entered her room. Storm wasn't paying attention to her surroundings until Mulder picked her up.

"Stormy, you should be in bed," Mulder scolded. Storm mumbled unhappily at her father. The older man yawned again, picked up Storm's stuffed fox, and put them both to bed.

"Dada stay," Storm mumbled as her father put the blanket on her. Mulder smiled and showed his daughter some affection. Storm hugged her fox close to her and looked up at her father.

"I will read you one book, but then you need to go to sleep. Do you understand?" Mulder said firmly to his daughter. Storm nodded happily as her father got out her favorite book.

"Fish," Storm mumbled as her father read her "The Rainbow Fish". Mulder smiled at his daughter as she mumbled happily. When the older man was done reading, he loved on his daughter once more before he got up and left the room.

"Hey baby," Scully smiled as her husband returned to their bedroom. Mulder smiled as he turned off the light and climbed back into bed. Scully scooted close to the older man and kissed him happily.

"I read our baby her favorite book, then made sure she understood she needed to sleep," Mulder yawned as he returned the affection.

"Good. Hopefully she listens to you," Scully yawned as she snuggled up close to her husband. Mulder smiled, wrapped his arms around his wife, and fell asleep.

At around six in the morning, Storm yawned as she entered her parents bedroom. The toddler, walked over to her mother's side of the bed and pulled on the blanket. Scully yawned, but remained asleep.

"Mama," Storm cried unhappily. Scully yawned and groaned as she rolled away from her husband.

"What is it Storm?" Scully mumbled.

"I potty Mama," Storm whined. Scully yawned as she sat up in bed. The toddler tried to climb into her parents bed.

"Come on Stormy," Scully mumbled as she picked her daughter up. Storm hugged her mother happily, as Scully walked her back to her bedroom.

When the two girls arrived in the bedroom, Scully gently laid her daughter on her changing table, and changed her diaper. Storm looked up at her mother, and giggled happily. Scully smiled back at her daughter.

When Scully was done, she gently picked her daughter up, grabbed her toy fox, and went to use the bathroom.

While in the bathroom Storm mumbled unhappily. Scully sat on the toilet and smiled at her daughter. The small girl went over to her mother and tried to climb onto her.

"No baby. Mommy has to potty, then we are going to lay down in my bed, okay?" Scully smiled at the small girl. Storm stopped and pointed at the bath unhappily.

"Storm, you took a bath last night. I'm not going to make you take another one right now," Scully explained. Storm smiled happily and went to sit next to the door. The small toddler hated taking baths.

When Scully was done using the restroom, she gently picked her daughter up, and went back to her bedroom. Storm mumbled happily as her mother set her on the bed. Scully smiled at the small girl as she climbed back into bed herself.

The small girl smiled happily at her mother and held up her stuffed fox. Scully smiled at her daughter and laid back down.

"Come lay down with Mommy sweetheart," Scully looked at her daughter. Storm mumbled and laid next to her mother. The older woman smiled at her daughter, covered her with her blanket, and held her close. The small child mumbled happily and fell asleep.

A few hours later, Storm was playing in the living room while her parents made breakfast. In the kitchen, Mulder was standing behind his wife, holding her and loving on her, as she tried to make breakfast.

"Mulder enough," Scully groaned happily. Mulder smiled and kissed his wife one more time, before he pulled away. Scully looked back at her husband and smiled.

"Mama," Storm walked into the room, interrupting her parents. Mulder smiled at his daughter and knelt down on the floor next to her.

"What is it Storm?" Mulder looked at the small toddler. Storm hugged onto her father and held onto him. The older man, held his daughter close and stood up.

"Hungry Dada," Storm mumbled. Mulder gently set his daughter on her chair and got her some eggs. Storm looked at her food and ate happily.

After breakfast, Scully was trying to get her daughter dressed for the day. Storm mumbled unhappily as her mother got her dressed.

"Mama stop," Storm cried at her mother. Scully smiled at the toddler and loved on her. The small girl whined and tried to push her mother away from her.

"You are fine sweetheart. I love you," Scully smiled at her daughter. Storm looked at her mother and whimpered.

"Love you too Mama," Storm mumbled. Scully smiled at her daughter happily. The small girl grabbed onto her mother and pointed at her toy box.

"Not right now baby. Mommy and Daddy need to run errands okay?" Scully tried explaining. Storm mumbled, walked over to her bed, and grabbed her stuffed fox.

Scully slowly stood up and watched her child. Storm reached up and grabbed onto her mother's hand. The older woman smiled as her daughter tried to lead her out of her room.

"Scully are you ready?" Mulder asked as he stepped into his daughter's bedroom. Storm saw her father, let go of her mother's hand, and reached up for her father.

"Yeah I'm ready hun," Scully said as her husband picked up their daughter. Storm mumbled happily as she looked up at her father.

The family went out to the car. Storm whined as her father put her into her carseat. Scully shushed her daughter as she got into the car.

"Daddy no," Storm whined. Mulder kissed on his daughter and placed her stuffed fox in her arms. The small girl reached up for her father looking for more attention.

"No Storm. I have to drive. I promise I will spend time with you later," Mulder smiled as he left to get into the front seat. Storm whined unhappily as Mulder started the car.

After about forty-five minutes, Mulder pulled into the mall parking lot. Scully smiled at her husband and looked back at her daughter. Storm was hugging her fox close to her while fast asleep.

"She's going to be cranky when I wake her up," Scully laughed. Mulder smiled and kissed his wife. The woman smiled and returned the kiss.

"I wish she would just sleep through the night. Even when we don't allow her to take naps, she's still up all night," Mulder smiled. Scully stole one more kiss from her husband and went to the backseat.

"Hey Stormy. Time to wake up baby," Scully spoke softly as she unbuckled her daughter. The small girl cried and yawned as her mother woke her.

"Mama," Storm cried unhappily. Scully kissed her daughter as she held her close to her. The toddler hugged her toy fox close to her as her mother held her.

Mulder grabbed his daughter's diaper bag and went over to his wife. The man snuggled on his daughter as Scully held her. Storm mumbled and looked at her father.

"We love you Storm," Mulder smiled. Storm looked at her father then at her mother. Scully was smiling at her daughter as well.

"Love you," Storm mumbled as her parents walked into the mall. Scully grinned at her husband and held her daughter tightly.

After a couple hours, the family was sitting down in the food court eating. Storm was grabbing at her fries and happily eating. Scully smiled down at her daughter and ate.

"Dada," Storm pointed at her father's burger. Mulder laughed, ripped off a small part of his burger, and gave it to his daughter.

"Thanks," Storm replied as she ate her food happily. Scully brushed her daughter's hair out of her eyes and smiled. Storm looked up at her mother.

After lunch, Storm was holding her mother's hand tightly as her parents walked towards the toy store. Storm mumbled as she held her fox close to her with her other arm.

Scully looked down at her daughter and smiled. The small girl tried getting closer to her mother as they walked.

"Stormy, since you've been good today, we're going to buy you a new toy, okay?" Mulder smiled at his daughter. Storm nodded and looked up at him.

When they got inside the store, Scully tried to push her daughter to go look at toys. The small girl whined and grabbed onto her mother's pant leg. Scully smiled and knelt down next to the small girl.

"Go on Stormy. You can get whatever you want sweetheart," Scully tried to encourage. Storm hugged her stuffed fox close and tried to climb into her mother's arms.

"Storm, go pick out a toy, then we can go play in the play area, okay?" Mulder smiled as he knelt down as well. Storm mumbled and tried to lay on her mother. Scully smiled and snuggled her daughter for a moment.

"Mama," Storm whined. Scully stood up and took her daughter's toy out of her arms. The small girl reached up for her fox. Mulder gently lead his daughter towards some toys.

"Go on Storm, go pick something out," Mulder smiled. Storm mumbled and wandered off towards some toys.

"Most other kids would go nuts when their parents tell them to get whatever they want," Scully kissed her husband. Mulder chuckled.

"Yeah, she's quite different. She's my baby though, so she's perfect to me," Mulder grinned. Scully smiled.

"Watch it though, I bet you she is going to be a terror when she is a teenager," Mulder teased. Scully sighed and playfully hit her husband.

Storm was going through some stuffed animals when she found a penguin and held it close. A strange woman approached the small girl and knelt down next to her.

"Hi what's your name?" the woman asked Storm. Storm mumbled unhappily and looked around for her parents.

"My name is Jane. That's a cute penguin. Does he have a name?" the woman smiled again.

"I want my Mama," Storm became upset. Scully heard her daughter, and went down the aisle towards her.

"Hi. Who are you?" Scully asked Jane, as she quickly picked her daughter up. Storm mumbled and laid on her mother.

"My name was Jane. Sorry I just saw her alone and I was worried. She's extremely cute," the lady smiled. Storm whined and pointed at her father. Scully shushed her daughter and held her close.

"Thank you for your concern," Scully said before she walked over to her husband. Mulder smiled at his daughter and brushed the hair out of her eyes.

Storm held up the penguin for her father to see. Scully smiled and loved on her daughter.

"Is that what you want Stormy? Do you want anything else?" Scully asked. Storm shook her head and looked up at her mother. Mulder gently took the toy out of his daughter's arms, and went to pay for it.

When they were done, the family walked over to the play area and set her daughter down. Scully loved on her daughter as she removed her shoes.

"Go on and play sweetheart," Scully smiled. Mulder approached the girls.

"Do you want one of your toys Storm?" Mulder smiled. Storm nodded and reached for her new penguin. The older man gave his daughter the toy, then stood up to go sit with his wife at a table next to the play area.

Scully smiled at her husband and laid on him. Mulder wrapped his arm around Scully and gave her a quick kiss.

"I love you Mulder," Scully smiled up at her husband. Mulder grinned at his wife.

"I love you too Scully," Mulder replied as he kissed his wife again. Scully held her husband's hand and sighed happily.

Storm was in the play area trying to climb on some stairs. The small girl was struggling since she was only using one arm. Her other arm was hugging her penguin close to her.

"Hi sweetie, do you need help?" Jane smiled as she approached Storm. The small toddler mumbled unhappily and looked around for her mother.

Jane sat next to Storm and smiled at her. Storm whined and tried to climb. Suddenly the toddler slipped and fell.

"Oh you're okay," Jane tried to calm Storm down before she made a scene. Storm sat up and hugged her penguin close to her.

"Come on sweetie. Let's go get some candy," Jane spoke softly as she tried to pick Storm up. Storm became upset and tried to pull away.

Jane stood up and held Storm close to her. The toddler started to cry and fight.

"I want my Mama!" Storm yelled. Scully heard her daughter, quickly pulled away from her husband and ran into the play area.

Jane was trying to rock Storm as she walked out to calm her down. The toddler was starting to stress out.

"Put my daughter down right now!" Scully growled when she saw Jane. When Storm saw her mother, she tried to kick Jane.

"Give me my daughter," Mulder approached Jane and tried to corner her. Storm started coughing and kept crying when she saw her parents.

"Fine, you can keep your brat, but we'll be back for her," Jane huffed as she put Storm on the ground roughly. Storm kept crying as Jane quickly left the area.

"Stormy, sweetheart, I'm right here, calm down baby," Scully spoke softly as she picked her daughter up. Storm was breathing erratically and kept crying.

Scully held her daughter close and loved on her as Mulder collected their stuff to leave. Storm dropped her penguin and grabbed onto her mother tightly. The older woman loved on her daughter as she picked up her toy.

"Let's go home," Mulder spoke softly as he smiled at his wife. Storm mumbled unhappily and hid her face in her mother's shirt.

At home, Scully was laying in the sofa chair as she held and cuddled her daughter. Mulder was in the kitchen cleaning before he made dinner. Storm was grabbing onto her mother while whining unhappily.

"Shh Stormy, you're okay," Scully smiled at the small toddler. Storm snuggled into her mother and cried again.

"How is she?" Mulder spoke softly as he stepped into the living room. Scully smiled at her husband and rocked their daughter.

"She's calming down a little. She's still having bursts of anxiety. I want her to sleep with us tonight, okay Mulder?" Scully looked up at her husband. Mulder smiled and nodded before he returned to the kitchen.

"Mama," Storm mumbled softly. Scully smiled at her daughter.

"What is it sweetie?" Scully said as she kissed the small girl.

"TV please?" Storm tried asking nicely. Scully loved on her daughter and grabbed the remote.

"Do you want cartoons or the channel with the animals?" Scully spoke softly.

"Animals Mama," Storm mumbled as she rolled over to get a better look at the TV. Scully smiled and turned on the TV.

"I love you so much Stormy," Scully said to her daughter as she held her close and cuddled her. Storm mumbled happily and watched TV.

After dinner Storm was following after her mother as she cleaned. Scully smiled at her daughter. Storm smiled up at her mother and held up her stuffed fox.

"I'll play when I'm done Stormy," Scully smiled. Storm nodded and went to the TV and sat down.

"Scully, I can finish cleaning if you want to be with Storm," Mulder smiled as he approached his wife. Scully turned and looked at her husband.

"Are you sure Mulder?" Scully replied. Mulder nodded.

"After her day today, all she wants is you," Mulder said as he kissed on Scully. Scully grinned and returned the kisses.

"Thank you baby!" Scully kissed her husband one more time before she went to be with her daughter.

"Mama," Storm mumbled when she saw her mother. Scully smiled, picked up her daughter, and set her on her lap.

"Stormy, you get to sleep with Daddy and me tonight, okay?" Scully spoke softly to her daughter. Storm mumbled happily and held up her penguin for her mother.

Scully took the toy from her daughter and loved on her. Storm giggled happily and hugged her fox close to her. Mulder looked over at his family and smiled.

A couple hours later Scully was laying in her bed. Her daughter was sitting in the middle of the bed, laughing and giggling.

"Hey you should be sleeping," Mulder smiled at his daughter as he entered the room. Storm saw her father and make happy noises. Scully smiled and rubbed her daughter's back.

"Daddy," Storm mumbled happily as her father climbed into bed. Mulder smiled as he laid down. Scully gently held onto her daughter as Mulder pulled the blanket over the family.

"Storm, you need to go to sleep baby," Scully spoke softly. Storm whined and pointed at her father.

"What is it Storm?" Mulder asked. Storm crawled over to her father and laid down. Mulder smiled and pulled his daughter into his arms.

"Daddy," Storm mumbled happily as her father held her close. After about ten minutes the small girl fell asleep.

"Thank you Mulder," Scully smiled as she kissed her husband. Mulder grinned and returned the affection.

In the middle of the night, the toddler suddenly woke up from a bad dream. The small girl quickly started pushing on her father.

"Storm, what's wrong?" Mulder groaned as he woke up. Storm cried and tried to get as close to her father as she could.

"Mmm, is everything okay?" Scully mumbled half awake. Mulder yawned and held his daughter close. Storm started to calm down as her father held her. Soon the toddler was fast asleep again.

The next morning Storm yawned as she slowly woke up. When she didn't see either of her parents she started to cry. Scully quickly walked into the room.

"Oh Stormy, I'm right here, shh," Scully spoke quickly as she sat on the bed. Storm slowly stood up and hugged onto her mother. Scully smiled and held her daughter close.

"Where Daddy?" Storm spoke softly. Scully smiled and loved on her daughter. The small girl mumbled happily and grabbed onto the towel her mother was wearing.

"Daddy is taking a shower," Scully smiled at the young girl. Storm looked up at her mother and nodded.

"I had bad dream Mama," Storm mumbled sadly. Scully kissed her daughter gently. It was unusual for Storm to talk in big sentences.

"Aww you're okay sweetheart," Scully smiled. The small girl smiled and pulled on her mother's towel.

"Let me get dressed okay baby?" Scully looked at her daughter. Storm nodded and watched her mother. When Scully was done getting ready, she picked her daughter up.

The small girl mumbled happily and wrapped her arms around her mother's neck. Scully smiled at her daughter and kissed her gently. Mulder soon entered the room.

"Hi Daddy," Storm mumbled when she saw her father. Mulder grinned at his daughter and kissed her. Storm made happy noises as she looked at her parents.

"I'm going to make breakfast okay Mulder?" Scully said as she kissed her husband. Mulder nodded and returned the kiss as his wife left the room.

After breakfast Storm kept following close to her mother. Scully smiled at the small child as she cleaned up her house. After a while Storm became bored and went upstairs.

A half an hour later Scully went upstairs to find her daughter. Storm was in her father's office sitting on the floor playing with her toys while he worked. Scully saw her daughter and husband and smiled.

"Come on Stormy. Daddy is working right now," Scully spoke softly as she picked her daughter up. Storm whined and reached for her father. The older woman loved on her daughter and left the room.

"I want my Daddy," Storm mumbled. Scully smiled at her daughter and brushed her hair out of her eyes. Storm smiled at her mother.

"Daddy is working. Do you want to watch TV or play?" Scully asked. Storm laid on her mother and thought about her choices.

"Both?" Storm asked softly. Scully smiled and nodded. The small child made happy noises at her mother. Even after everything that just happened the day before, Storm seemed to be back to normal. Or so Scully thought.
