Auron looked into the map.
- Shit, he swore, I should have been in Zanarkland saving that little brat a quarter ago.
Auron swallowed.
- I sure hope he's still alive…
While in Zanarkland, totally being destroyed, Tidus was helplessly (and
incredibly spoiled) screaming for help:
- Hello?! Isn't there anybody out there with some food for me?! I'm starving and I'm too lazy to get something for myself!
- Are you…Tidus?
Tidus turned around. Auron looked at him weirdly.
- What? Don't tell me I forgot to comb my hair also? he asked.
Tidus started drawling.
- Food…food… he began and started walking like a Zombie towards Auron.
Auron jumped by surprise.
- Hey, hey, wait just a minute! I'm not eat-able, I'm a vegetarian!
Tidus scratched his head in confusion. Auron sighed with relieve. He picked up some papers from his clothes and read them.
- Yupp, he's as stupid as it says… he began, Well I guess I have to bring you 1000 years forward then.
- Feed me…!! the food-zombie Tidus demanded.
- But look here! said Auron and forwarded the papers, It says I have to! I um…let's see…what does it say…oh yeah, I'm supposed to keep some stupid promise…that I obviously forgot…and you should be transported into the future.
- Oh…is there food there?
Auron looked angry. Tidus made the geekiest smile he could.
- I like potatoes a lot!
Auron snorted. He put the papers inside his coat again.
- Well, let's take you to the future…!
It was unusually quiet for a long time. Auron scratched his head. Tidus looked around.
- It didn't take long…!
Auron took up the papers again. He read it through.
- Crap…I hate having this bad memory…
Tidus peaked at the paper.
- Nice, I like that "meeting Yuna" part.
Auron looked at him.
- If you want to meet her, could you please find how I should take you to the future for me in these papers?
Tidus nodded.
- Sure, I also look to see if you'll make some food for me later…!
Auron did a "strangle" pose without Tidus noticing. Tidus read through the papers.
- Aha!
- What?! What does it say?!
- It says that Rikku will feed me! Nice!
Auron cursed under his breath. He hated his kid already…
