AN: This is a little short just because it is hard for me to write very long in a letter format. Hope you enjoy!

I do not own Harry Potter

Dear Professor Dumbledore,

My name Petunia Evans. As you know, my sister, Lily, just received a letter from you and your school. She's to attend it. However, I didn't receive any letter. I understand that Hogwarts is for a certain kind of people. But Lily got a letter! She's my little sister, surely anything she can do I can do better! Anyway, I was hoping that it wasn't too late to register for Hogwarts. Lily hasn't bought her supplies yet, so it wouldn't cause any inconvenience for our parents. So, please Professor, please send me a letter. It's not only that I'm a bit jealous, I admit, but I'm worried about Lily going away by herself for the whole year. She needs me to protect her. That's what sisters do.

Sincerely,

Petunia Evans (age 13)

Dear Ms. Evans,

I must congratulate you on being the first person to directly write me a letter whishing for attendance to Hogwarts Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I understand completely your desire to attend school with your sister. I would also like to say that I am very proud of you for thinking of your sister's well being as a reason to attend Hogwarts with her. There are many people who are or were in your situation, who thought only of themselves. That being said, I am going to have to turn you down. As you said, "Hogwarts is for a certain kind of people". Hogwarts is for wizards and witches. Unfortunately, you are not either. If it were within my power, I would gladly allow you to attend. However, I am afraid that you would be bullied for not being a witch and I would never put you in that predicament. Perhaps when you are older we can find a way to let you be a part of the wizarding world.

Sincerely,

Professor Albus Dumbledore
