Here is the first chapter for the 3rd book in the series, I own nothing and no money has been made from any of my writings.
I picked the telly phone up, it was shinny and black and cold to my ear as I rang up Potter even though I was reading Ronald's letter, he was a dimwitted pure blood this concept was out of his grasp. I never used one but saw Hermione and Aunt Jean do it many times and was sure that doing this would not end in me screaming.
I hear the dial tone as Hermione was sitting in the parlor chair too nervous to call him herself so worried about Harry getting into more trouble, but he was always in some short of trouble anyhow. Aunt Jean was getting ready for a shopping trip while Uncle Snape loomed around they bought a home together, one that was grand for being a muggle home.
A female voice answered, "Dursley residence, Petunia speaking," A very servant way of answering but maybe this was custom for some Muggles, maybe they deemed it proper.
I answered, "Hello Mrs. Dursley, my name is Vera Hawthrone. We moved a few homes down and met your nephew, Harry. I am sure you have saw us moving in if we made commotion we give our apologies, sincerely. My father own's La Black restaurant's and we had little time to meet new people. If possible, might I speak with Harry," my Uncle owned many Muggle corporations and restaurants money was money, he owned some in the Wizarding world as well as being an Auror.
I heard her sputter, "I have heard of your move in and of course you caused no trouble, my dear. Let me go fetch my nephew," she was overly polite now so sickly sweet it was unnerving.
I waited hearing her muttering in a crude whisper, than his voice came on the line, "Hello?" he was very confused now.
"Hey Saint Potter, not in trouble are you?"
A breathless chuckle, "Not at all, Jay, she has wanted to go to La Black for some time but it is too hard to get in. Your father owns it?" he knew my voice and at least sounded happy I called.
"Before prison yes, now Uncle runs it," Hermione took over talking to Harry.
This was the surprise, for now we're in the Muggle world with Aunt Jean for five weeks. I had Potters birthday gift ready and would be sent along with Hermione's, Gin was in Egypt after her family won a work place give away. She found some interesting magic books she convinced Bill to buy with the money I gave her.
Nev and Cedric are sending regular updates as well as the girls of the Order, but I just let it go and said have a good holiday. Life should still be lived, Daphne sent me a necklace from Bora Bora this muggle resort I think, it is very cute and is now laying on velvet in my box. Hermione was still chattering to Potter while I escaped not wanting to deal with the telly phone any longer.
The rooms all enchanted making them larger than once before, we have multiple rooms normal homes here would dare not have. I sit in the library with Hermione an hour later, I was deep into a book that I should not have touched since it was from the Malfoy collection that Draco smuggled out for me. Aunt Jean snapped, "It's that woman, Harry's Aunt," damn it.
Hermione sighed, her bushy hair covering her face. "All we did was call and converse with, Harry. Mum," she was well spoken, no, she always was. I saw her as a defenseless child and when my view point corrected I saw her in a new light, she did not need my protection.
But for now we drank the potion as Auntie scattered to answer the door, we looked like twins now. Long blonde hair that curled, slender and about an inch taller with eyes of emerald green for Hermione and purple for my own. I took another seat across from her acting as if nothing had happened, each with a Muggle book in hand when the door opened. Aunt Jean stood with three people, Petunia and her abnormally long neck, her whale of a son, and Potter who look dumb founded at us sitting here.
Aunt Jean smiled, "My dear's, this is Petunia and her strapping son Dudley, and you have already met her nephew Harry the other day. These are my girls, Vera, and Hera, boys please make yourself comfortable while we get drinks,"
Potter took the seat close to us while leaving his cousin in a large arm chair, Hermione plastered a fake smile on her face. "It is nice to meet you, Dudley," he was looking at us in a rather grossest way, his eyes moved up her before moving to me.
I snapped, "Do not look at my sister like a snack, you swine," the book being clenched into my palm to keep my desire to thrash him about the face, right where it needed to be stuck inside me.
The two-woman walked back in with drinks, before Aunt Jean gave her a tour of our home here. Pleasure seeped in seeing the jealousy clear on her face, "I am a dentist, my husband and his twin brother own multiple business," Aunt Jean smirked she has been dating Uncle for too long, she was picking up his traits. Dudley was rambling off about himself, making himself sound like a fine chap but right now everything about him made me want to yack.
The telly phone went off sending a loud ringing through the house as Hermione took her chance and vanished, "So Harry, we have heard about his schooling and nearly everything about him. How about you?"
He gave me a rather angry look, "I go to St. Brutus's Secure Centre for Incurably Criminal Boys," that was horrible they gave him such a lie to tell, making him look so bad. But it was still fun to poke fun at him shame Weasel was not here for me to torment.
I just winked, "Oh, girls really do like the bad boys. Hera and I go to a boarding school in Ireland, very prestigious almost no one of unimportance can gain entry," trying to make my voice flirtier like Tonk's whenever she is around my godfather.
"Mother, that was the office calling, Troy Monroe took a header and needs emergency care his father will pay extra seeing as how the office is closed," this was our lifesaver.
"Come on boys," Petunia smiled, but she was only saying it to her son she acted as if Harry was nonexistent.
"It was delightful talking to you Harry, Dudley as always remember your manors, with such a perfectly poised mother I am shocked at you,"
Petunia gave her son a look, "I learned to talk to girls from Piers," his mother looked very angry with him, but doubtful her duddykins would be in an ounce of trouble.
She spoke, "I am very sorry, he will be very behaved tomorrow," Dudley blamed everyone but himself and it worked time and time again. Finally, we are alone once again the guest gone, Auntie gone only Uncle roaming the house with the house elf's. Juju was here with me, bless her.
I shook the blond from my hair leaving it like a dark curly curtain. "I am going to be sick tomorrow, sadly," Mione just groaned taking a seat with her thick book going about our day as before.
I was not suited to be in the muggle world, I found it very hard and trivial at the best of times.
