The steps feel like ice to her bare feet, yet still she climbs up and up towards the top of the fortress; towards her destination. Her long scarlet hair is down and free flowing as usual, though bare of its usual ornaments and adornments. Her earrings and necklaces have been removed, left on her bed along with the bangles that normally adorn her arms and legs; tonight they are hinderences. She holds the silken robe closer to her body as she climbs higher, almost hugging the golden fabric to her thing frame. The night is warm as always but she feels chilled to the bone. Under the robe, she wears only a thong and a short chemise, nothing more.
It has been three moons since their King has returned; three moons passing with him taking a new girl to bed each night. Now it was Eridell's turn. She pauses before the massive wooden door before her; there is no ammount of her spiritual training that could have prepared her for this and that thought scares her deeply. Nevertheless, she swallows this fear and raises he hand to gently knock one, twice, three times upon the dark wood door. There is silence and she waits, holding her breath without even realizing it. Her mind races with thoughts of him beging out and not needing her tonight but she knows it's too good to be true. The doors open suddenly, swiging inward without hands to guide them and stopping just as easily. His deep voice calls for her to enter and she follows the command without hesitation; he is her King afterall.
She walks into the largest of the rooms, her eyes not really focused on anything at all. She walks past paitings, tapestries, books, artifcats, and trappings with not a glance spared to any of them. She seems to just automatically stop right before the massive bed, her eyes downcast and staring at the fine stone floor. There she stays, unmoving, with her eyes glued to the stone. In the background, she can hear what can only be those massive wooden doors swinging shut again; no reason to let any disturbances enter into here now. 'Or to let me out.' Eridell thinks, as her nervousness and fear rises again. Eridell sees no reason to push them down again.
She waits in silence. She does not know what for but she knows she must wait. The silence seems to stretch into eternity and Eridell feels as if she's been standing there forever when a hand lands on her right shoulder. Eridell almost yelps outloud in shock, but manages to remain silent; she does twitch a bit through. A second hand comes under her chin and raises Eridell's face upward. Her King towers over her, at least two heads taller than she is; Eridell has never seen such a tall man before and she finds herself wondering if he's really real. His golden orbs stare into her soft brown for a moment and Eridell feels as if her very soul is being pierced.
And then suddenly his lips are upon hers with a crushing pressure. The hand that had rested upon her shoulder is now at the small of her back, pushing her into the kiss with immense strength. Eridell feels like her lips are being crushed and all of her air is being stolen. She feels slightly dizzy. He releases her and Eridell sways slightly in place; her head spinning. And then she is spinning for real as he quickly turns her about, as if to get her dizzy, as he tears the silken robe from her body. A hand stops her journey and the short chemise is also torn from her body with a single pull; Eridell is too shocked by the savage act to even try to cover herself. Eridell finds herself being forced to her knees and she obeys to avoid injury. He moves to stand in front of her and she comes face-to-face with his massive appendage. She is unsure of just when or how he removed his pants, but she chalks it up to magic and pushes the issue aside.
