"Colonel, you said you wanted to see me?" Ed asked, leaning hesitantly into Roy Mustang's office.

Roy smirked. "Yes, Edward. Close the door, please. Oh, and lock it."

Ed blanched. It was weird for the colonel to call him by his given name to begin with, but to ask him to close and lock the door? That was just creepy.

Ed glared at him to hide his confusion and snapped, "What do you want, Colonel Shit? I'm busy."

Roy chuckled and ran a hand through his glossy black hair. "Really, Edward, you shouldn't speak that way." Here he looked Ed straight in the eye, dark meeting light. "I could have you discharged."

There was something not right about Roy. Usually he threw around sarcastic comments, most likely making fun of Ed's height or something of that nature, but today was somehow different.... Maybe it was the way he walked, or carried himself, or was it the way he talked?

"What do you want?" Ed repeated cautiously. Roy was definitely acting strange....

Instead of answering Ed's question directly, Roy responded with a question of his own. "Do you know how long I've watched you, Edward? How long I've waited for you?"

Ed blinked. "Wh-what? What the hell are you--?!"

Roy smiled alluringly at him, "Shh, Edward. Let me finish."

Dammit, this is so wrong, but...the colonel is so.... Ed thought, blushing. Roy, noticing, grinned at Ed's reaction.

"I've noticed you ever since you first became a dog of the military. However, at the time, you were only a child, and I was aware of that. That didn't stop me from wanting you though, all these years that I've been waiting in the wings."

Ed stood in shock. He hadn't been expecting this. But, somehow, he had a feeling it was what he wanted to hear.

He walked closer to Ed, so close they were almost touching. He leaned down to whisper in Ed's ear. "Burning inside every time someone touches you...someone other than me. You're older now, Edward, and I won't let you walk away from me."

Roy shifted his head slightly to brush his lips against Ed's ear, moving to his face, tracing a fiery pattern wherever his lips touched. Ed's heart began thumping erratically, and he was dreading--or was he looking forward to?--what was going to inevitably happen next. After what seemed like an eternity, Roy's lips found Ed's--and they both snapped.

That light pressure of their lips brushing against each other caused an uncontrollable frenzy in both of them. The kiss suddenly became more fierce, more passionate, more demanding, as Roy wrapped his arms around Ed, and Ed locked his hands in Roy's hair, both of them pulling the other closer to themselves.

When they ran out of air, they broke away from each other, panting. Roy looked up at Ed with a determined, yet undeniably sultry, expression. "Choose me, Ed," he said.

Ed remained silent, trying to control his breathing. With each passing minute that he didn't say anything, Roy became more and more annoyed as they looked into each other's eyes.

"Look--," Roy began to say something, but Ed brought his mouth down on Roy's, and it wasn't cautious or shy. This kiss was hard, fast, and full of desire. He pulled away, still unbearably close to Roy.

"Who do you think I've chosen?" he whispered, smirking.

Roy calmed down and grinned. "I think I like that answer," he replied before kissing Ed again.
