Chapter 1
Brambleclaw woke up tired. He blinked and the soft scent entered his nose. He blinked to see his mate Squirrellflight the fiery ginger She-cat daughter of Firestar.
"You feel better?" She asked her Green eyes filled with worry.
"Yes." He meowed, slightly purring.
"Lets go gets some food."
"Okay" he stood up stretching his muscle yelling at him.
The two warriors padded out of the den into the middle of camp. Squirrelflight padded to the Fresh-kill pile and picked up two mice, and padded back to him.
"Here eat up" she placed the mouse in front of him.
After eating his mouse he turned to her.
"Do you wanna go for a walk with me? He asked purring"I need to stretch my muscles"
"Sure come on." She answered
They to cats walked into the morning tail intwined
