When you clipped my wings
I never cared
I was too afraid to fly
But all the things I never dared
Beckon to me now
To take a risk and lead my life
Just like I always dreamed-
I know there shall be pain, I know there shall be strife
But in the end
I'll be free
To use my own rules in life-
So many things to dare and see
Are calling to me now
It's time to free me of tradition-
Unlock this cage and let me fly-
Let me reach for the sun
