Mako rolled over in his bed, he had just awoken and he heard his younger siblings wailing somewhere in the house. He swung his feet over the side of his bed and stood, then walked to his wardrobe where he picked out some clothes to put on for the day. He didn't pick out anything fancy, just a white shirt and some cargo shorts. Slipping on his flip-flops he thought about Gou-chan, with her beautiful eyes and hair. He grabbed his swim trunks and threw them into a bag along with a towel and trotted out his front door.
Upon arriving at the pool he could see that Haru was already swimming. Haru wasn't practicing laps but instead floating on the surface. Mako ran to the pool and greeted Haru with a smile. The floating brunette didn't say a word back, his eyes were closed and he was enjoying the water. Mako shrugged and changed before sitting in a chair, waiting for the others.
Nagasi and Rei were walking together. They were having an average conversation on the beauty of swimming. The conversation went on for a while, but all Nagasi could think about was his feelings toward Rei. He had never informed Rei of these feelings, maybe hinted at them every once and a while. Nagasi couldn't take it anymore but he was afraid that Rei would tell the others and he would be viewed differently. He decided to nevertheless and looked at Rei, his cheeks had a slight pink tint to them "Rei-chan?" "Yes?" Rei looked back at Nagasi, a bit confused on why he was suddenly blushing. "I, uh, I-I think I like you…" Rei looked away, grabbing the back of his neck he started to blush as well, he tried to hide the blush but he utterly failed. The taller boy let his hands drop and looked back at his crush, "I like you too, Nagasi-chan," Nagasi gasped, he wasn't quite expecting this and he screamed out in glee, hugging Rei. The hug was quite awkward to Rei, as his body flinched. Nagasi released the other boy and spoke clearly "We mustn't tell the others!" Rei agreed with a quick nod. They both then walked to the swim club, holding hands.
