This is a Hitsukarin one-shot and I hope you enjoy it.

Toushirou was walking to yet another captain's meeting feeling very pissed. Not the paperwork or his fukutaicho who refused to do it had made him this mad. He was just pissed and everyone in the soul society knew not to even talk to him today. Except one.

As Toushirou walked into the captain's meeting room he stood where he was supposed to stand and Shunsui said his regular hello to him as he did every meeting. Big mistake.

"Hello, Hitsugaya-taicho" greeted Kyoraku.

"Get away from me, you perverted moron" responded Toushirou, coldly. Then Shunsui finally noticed the temperature in the room. He would say 50, 40 degrees. He decided it was probably best to stay away from the teenage taicho today. But it was still bothering him how the boy could be so pissed. He decided to confront him on his anger tomorrow.

The next day

Today was no better than the day before. Toushirou as still pissed, maybe even more pissed than the day before. He was sitting in his office, doing paperwork, when his door opened to reveal Kyoraku Shunsui.

"What do you want Kyoraku?" hissed Toushirou angrily. Shunsui shrunk back.

"I-I wanted to know if you were having troubles so I came to see if you w-wanted to talk about it" explained Shunsui. Toushirou's right eye twitched.

"GET OUT!" he yelled and Shunsui ran like his life depended on it. As he ran he thought of another idea to maybe cheer the chibi-taicho up.

The day after that

"Yo Toushirou" yelled Shunsui as he walked into the 10th division dojo. Toushirou froze yet another dummy before turning around to glare coldly at the taicho. Shunsui could tell that he was still angry but this time he was going to help whether the teenage taicho liked it or not.

"What do you want now?" glared Toushirou. Shunsui remained standing tall.

"Look Hitsugaya, if your not going to talk to me about your anger then we'll fight it out" declared Shunsui. Toushirou smirked evilly.

"Fine. Let's fight" said Toushirou as the fight began.

That day Shunsui winded up getting frostbite in the most uncomfortable of areas on his body.

The day after that

Shunsui stood at another captain's meeting, still a little frozen from the day before.

As the captain's meeting ended Kyoraku saw Toushirou walk towards him. Shunsui closed his eyes and waited for the yelling, the screaming or for another frostbite attack but it never came. As he opened his eyes he found that Toushirou was looking straight at him as he began to speak.

"I'm sorry" he said. Kyoraku stared him, dumbfounded.

"What?" Shunsui replied.

"I'm sorry for the way I've acted towards you the last few days" he said as he walked out of the meeting. Shunsui just stared at his back until his was gone and then turned to Ukitake.

"What's up with him?" he asked, amazed. Ukitake turned to him and smiled.

"Karin-chan just got back from a long mission this morning"
