My first Twilight poem. I hope you like it, and it's from Bella's POV, by the way, and it's right before Breaking Dawn.
Sunlight caressing my face,
restraining me from your cold embrace.
Fearing what people might think,
my heart, slowly, starts to sink.
You said you were dangerous for me,
but I would rather die than be without thee.
You're my Twilight, changing my life.
You're my New Moon, darkening my sky.
You're my Eclipse, mine forever.
Thirst and passion goes hand-in-hand,
making me your favorite brand.
Perhaps we were foolish and silly and all,
but without you I'd have nothing at all.
You're my life, my reason, my love forever,
Leaving you, I could never.
You tried though, but you failed,
just proof that our love surely prevailed.
We are made for each other - ice and fire,
we are one another's true desire.
My pulsing blood makes it hard for you to breathe,
it just makes my body start to seethe.
Your hold on me is like my hold on you,
when we're together it's always true.
Missing pieces us redirect,
finding their way back when our eyes connect.
Topaz and brown,
we both get lost, and we often drown.
You think I'm stupid when I say you have a soul,
telling me I'm wrong when I say you have a goal.
You might not see it as I'm clouding your mind,
but I've always wanted to be one of your kind.
We both got smitten,
now I'm just waiting to get solemnly bitten.
