"E.D., ith Not going to fit."

Eridan huffed, frustrated by Sollux's words.

"Yes it wwill." The gemini sighed.

"I'm telling you, ith too big. Ith not going to fit."

"Shut up Sol I'll make it fit.

Karkat was walking to the lab when he heard this little conversation through the door. He widened his eyes, not daring to look inside, but hiding behind the door frame to listen.

He could hear Eridan snarling in frustration and Sollux making a slightly exasperated sound.

"God, E.D., don't forcthe it, you'll jutht fuck it all up. You really thuck at thith."

Karkat froze, blushing and gagging at the thought of what the two could be up to but staying in his hiding spot just to make sure.

"Thtop it E.D., jutht let me try." Sollux's voice was calm, if snickering a bit.

"Fuck no, I'm going to finish this-" Eridan's voice was cut off by the sounds of scuffling, and Karkat decided he'd heard enough, anymore and he might just violently expel his lunch from his protein chute. He took off, yelling something that Sollux and Eridan couldn't hear. Inside the lab, Eridan and Sollux looked up from their fight at the sound of Karkat's yell and retreating footsteps. Eridan shoved Sollux off and threw the puzzle piece they had been trying to force into the wrong spot.

"I wwonder wwhat the hell Kar's problem is," He grumbled, finally conceding to Sollux and stepping back to let him have his go at the puzzle. Sollux just shrugged and readjusted his glasses.

"No idea," He muttered quietly as he finally found the properly fitting piece and placed it in the former gap.
