For when you turn your back to the shattered mirror, adorned by shadowed lust is the reflection of your heart.
Like the tongue of the steel blade that cuts your throat silently in the night, even your dreams are a safe haven no more.
His meticulous crimson eyes glare through the fading light.
Running his lips smoothly over blood stained fingers, he whispers the name of his other half.
From ebony cues the river of regret, lingering on the boarders of insanity you struggle to stay afloat.
Severed at birth but reconnected by time, your fingers entwine in the silent revelry that makes for your heart.
Eclipsed by the hands of fate, yet revealed in the womb of destiny, what is not whole cannot be complete.
Strawberry blood embraces can never reconnect the broken chains bound around your souls.
Eerie innocence in the form of murder, justice shall never betray love.
For the pleasure is the pain, and the pain will last forever.
Steel and stone will not break my bones, but my words shall always hurt you.
Together entangled in a heated fury, frenzied and hungry kisses shall not save what was lost from the beginning.
Mirrored images, so alike but so unique.
Am I really you?
Static memories fizzle out of view, the hand that was grasped no more.
The little boy with the sight.
The little boy with no eyes.
Together they were one, separate but the same.
As sweet as the cake they shared on their first.
As cold as the snow falling around them in silence.
Happy Birthday to me…
Beyond what he may comprehend, never realizing how close they were to slipping.
Justice was served, and hearts stopped beating in promised sync.
But love shall never stop flowing…
