E/O Drabble Challenge

Challenge: Choose a drabble you have previously posted and rewrite it from another POV. For instance, if you have a Dean and Sam drabble written from Dean's POV, go back and write the same scene from Sam's POV. Then, in the author's note, tell the title of the original drabble or paste the original drabble in the story so we have a reminder of what happened.

I chose an old drabble of mine titled "Don't Wake It!"

Bonus Challenge: use the word "flip" AND the challenge word from the original drabble (in this instance, the old challenge word was floor). Note those in the author's note.

Word Count: 100 (for both old and new)

Other players in the challenge are now too many to list here! There are lots of people playing in this Supernatural leaf pile. You can find the list of names at Enkidu07's profile page and/or OnyxMoonbeam's profile page. Also, to find all of the lovely drabbles, there's a sweet little C2 community out there to subscribe to and enjoy. You can find the link on their profile pages mentioned above.

Disclaimer: Neither the boys nor anything related to Supernatural belongs to me. I'm just having some fun with the boys, playing around with Eric Kripke's sandbox.

DON'T WAKE IT

By: Vanessa Sgroi

He crawled across the floor, inching forward slowly, ignoring the dust that danced upward and tickled his nose. His focus remained on the large, dark lump he could barely make out in the gloom.

"Dean?" he hissed, finally reaching his brother's side.

"S'mmyy?" Dean stuttered pitifully.

"Sshhh," urged Sam, placing two fingers over Dean's lips, "we don't want to wake it up." He pulled out his knife and sawed through the bindings securing Dean's wrists and ankles.

Dean moaned as pins and needles flooded his extremities.

"Can you crawl?"

Breath hitching, Dean mumbled, "H-H-Hell, y-y-yeah."

"Good! Let's get outta here!"

QUIET, PLEASE

With hooded eyes, Dean watched his brother inch across the floor, all the while believing he'd finally flipped his lid and was hallucinating.

"Dean?"

He blinked. "S'mmyy?" Relief flooded through him.

"Sshhh."

Dean flinched slightly when Sam's fingers came to rest on his raw lips.

"We don't want to wake it up."

Dean nodded in the darkness. He felt several tugs at his abraded wrists and ankles as Sam sawed through his bindings but couldn't hold back a soft moan as feeling abruptly returned to his limbs.

"Can you crawl?" Please say yes.

"H-H-Hell, y-y-yeah." You better believe it, brother.
