Rainbow

AN: The wallpaper that I have on right now inspired me to write this Eureka Seven story. Pardon me if the characters are rather OOC, but Eureka's freakin' dreaming, so you should be able to forgive me!

"Mama! Mama! Look outside!" Maeter exclaimed as she ran over to Eureka. When she reached Eureka, she started tugging on her dress and attempted to drag her over to the rainbow to look outside.
"Yeah Mama, look outside, look outside!" Maurice and Linck exclaimed in agreement. They both ran over to their 'mother' and attempted to drag her over to the window to look outside as well.
Eureka smiled and replied,"Alright. I will." She walked over to the window and looked outside. She saw a colourful arc in the sky and was amazed.
Even though the colourful arc looked amazing, Eureka had no clue what it was. She was wondering what it was and was going to ask Renton, until Linck looked up at her with curious eyes.
"Mama, what's that?"
"I don't know." Eureka answered. "Maybe Renton knows."
Renton was near where Eureka and the children were. He was scrubbing the floor of the Gekko since Talho had made him. Talho had also made him do the laundry and many other things. Oh, how he hated all the work Talho gave him!"Renton?" Eureka began. "What is that?"
Renton looked up from the floor that he was scrubbing and at Eureka. "What's what, Eureka?"
"That." Eureka replied, pointing out of the window.
Renton stood up and walked over to the window, then peered outside. He smiled and answered,"It's a rainbow, Eureka!"
Eureka looked at him puzzedly and asked,"A rainbow? What is a rainbow, Renton?"
Renton thought about Eureka's question for a moment, then answered,"A rainbow is a colourful arc that often comes into the sky or a puddle whenever it rains."
When Eureka still seemed a bit confused, he added with a warm smile,"Rainbows also always seem to make people happy, so they're also something that make you happy."
Eureka looked deep into Renton's eyes and said,"That means that you're my rainbow, Renton. You make me very happy."
Renton blushed slightly and scratched the back of his head at her compliment. He was about to thank her like he usually would have when she complimented him, but he decided to tell her what he wanted to say instead.
He also looked deep into her eyes and said,"You're my rainbow too, Eureka. No one on the Gekko makes me as happy as you do."

AN: Likie? No likie? Well, please do review/favouritize, depending on how much you like it! And please tell me how OOCish I was with the characters. Oh, and I am very, very, very sorry for making the story so horribly short... It was just that I thought that it was sweet by ending just after what Renton said, so yeah. I also have WAY too much homework to make it any longer since I wrote this on a small break from one out of my billion projects.
