CHAPTER 1

A/N- This story is mainly a big thank you to the greatest friend in the world, Evil Unicorn Overlord. We somehow created this fantabulous plot. You should basically know what this is going to be about if you read the summary. Dedicated to all you Harry Potter fans and most of all, my genius unicorn accomplice, E.U.O or used to be known as Midnite Aussie. Read her stories guys! Oh, and this is way before the gang got married and basically a month after Voldermort's death.

Sometimes, all good things must come to an end but in this magical era, happiness hardly dies. Especially when the biggest threat to the ministry of magic is being killed in such a magnificent way, by three of Hogwarts very own Gryffindor; Harry. J Potter, Ronald. B Weasly and Hermione. J Granger. The celebration has been going on for over a month now. Some rejoice while others mourn over the death of their loved ones during the epic battle. Thousands of posters are strung up from The Great Hall to the Common Rooms. Amongst all the pictures and farewell quotes, Fred Weasly's smiling face in his proud Gryffindor robe seems to be standing out perfectly well, together with Professor Severus Snape's gloomy and serious expression along side it. Almost all of the students in Hogwarts despised the fact that Professor Snape was among their worthy friends up on the chandeliers. They thought that he was the main reason why their friends died during the battle but they do not know that he was a loyal and a faithful man to Albus Dumbledore, that was ordered to be a spy to the Death Eaters and most of all he had protected The Boy Who Lived through and through since the first day Harry stepped foot onto the grounds of Hogwarts. Sadly only the golden trio knows about his motives.

Harry perched on his window sill, remembering his brave and treacherous adventures with his two best mates. Reminiscing those times when he fought and laugh with them. He was happy that the war is finally over but was most definitely not satisfied that his loved ones died due to his actions, but who was he to blame, he is indeed the chosen one, he met Dumbledore on Kings Cross Station for the final time before he elapsed himself to fight one last time to the man bearing no nose.

"Hey Harry," Hermione walked past the unmade beds and straight to her best friend.

"Oh hi there," Harry snapped out of his daydreams again for the millionth time that month and, glanced towards the prim and proper looking girl.

"Please tell me you're not blaming yourself for everyone's death Harry… They died in honor for you and all of us but mainly you," Hermione's words travelled to Harry's overlusive piece of mind.

"No, no I'm not Mione. Where's Ron and Neville?" Harry lied once again to the wittiest girl in history and quickly changed the subject. He swept his fringe out of his blue eyes, which Ginny seems to adore.

"You. Harry James Potter. Trying to lie to me? Best of luck but I'm not buying that statement…" Hermione took a step nearing to Harry and placed her hand on his broad shoulders. She gave him one of her famous You-Have-Got-To-Be-Kidding-Me looks.

"I'm asking you a question, do you mind answering it?" Harry asked with his tone of level increasing every second. He barely got mad with Hermione but ever since the war ended it was all very different to him. Harry started seeing everything on a new perspective.

"They're out on the Quidditch field with Seamus and George… Bloody hell Harry, what happened to you? I was only reaching out and trying to help just like the old days," Hermione was taken aback by Harry's annoyance.

"Well the old days is over and deal with it!" Harry stormed out of the common room and brushed past Ginny on the way out. His face were crimson red with anger.

Ginny however seemed perplexed by Harry's actions and traced the noise of Hermione's muffled cries.

"Mione? You alright? What's Harry's problem? He didn't even hug me," Ginny asked exasperatedly and slowly slide her hands through Hermione's hands which were covering her beautiful face. She broke apart the wall of skin and bones, so as to see her friend's gesture.

There was silence for a few seconds. For a while there, Hermione played Harry's answers in her mind. She tried to control herself but she was sobbing uncontrobably like never before. Harry has been outdistancing himself between him and everyone else including herself and was always on the verge of flaring up. She understood fully why Harry was behaving that way but she does not understand why he out of all people was being a loner each day in a different location.

"He's mad at me for not answering his questions," Hermione finally spoke her words to Ginny who was embracing and comforting her in her warm hugs.

"He needs sometime to cool off. Now join me and Luna in The Great Hall for some of Fred and George's sweets and chocolate frogs… What's that saying again? Forget love, I'd rather fall in chocolates," laughed Ginny and led her friend down the stairwell.

"You're one nice person. I'm sorry if Harry has been ignoring your existence and chocolates seem like the way to go," Hermione managed a stifled chuckle.

"It's not your fault Mione, I probably should not tell you this but your sweetheart has a surprise for you at the end of this year," smirked Ginny while taking out the contents in her brown bag and handing over Hermione tissues to wipe off her tears.

"What is it!" Hermione suddenly got out of her sad mode and looked like her normal self again.

"You'll see at the end of the year," Ginny replied with a trace of smile on her face. She actually did that on purpose so as to make Hermione happy again as she knew if she mentioned Ron, she would go all smiles.

"Aww… come on and tell me already or else I'll tell Ron you told me his secret," Hermione said cheekily, tugging at Ginny's sleeves.

"I sealed my mouth Mione! And don't tell him, pleaseeee…" Ginny's words slurred for a few seconds.

"What's the point in telling me then? I hate it when people do that! If I could use a spell to make you spill the beans I would but I won't as you are after all Harry's girlfriend… haha" Hermione mocked.

The girls were approaching the big bold open doors of the Great Hall. Inside, all sorts of activities were happening. Some of the first year boys were having a good game of wizard chess while the girls were chit-chatting or either reading a book. The others were indulging themselves on the house elves' pudding, truffles and all sorts of sweets. Ginny spotted Luna's waving at the far corner of the hall and hurriedly brushed past the tables with Hermione's hand fasten on her palm.

The table in which Luna resided upon used to be where Professor Snape punished Ernie and Neville a few months back, when the Dumbledore's Army went on a raid to plaster the names of who had died with injustice that dark year. He had caught Hannah and Ginny while they retreated back to their respective rooms. Instead of punishing the girls, Neville stood up to Snape and ordered him to punish and crucify him instead but Snape reminded him that there were two people to be punished and only he was going to be punished if he released the girls away. Just when all hope was down, the Hufflepuff, Ernie McMillan, asked Snape to punish him as well. So the girls were released and the boys took on the irrational severe punishments that Snape gave them. The boys were crucified and tortured with curses till, they had multiple deep wounds criss crossing the barren bodies and their lips were dried up with blood surrounding it and their eyes looked worst than a panda's. They almost died till Snape was satisfied with them and let them go with their wands confiscated. Neville and Ernie had to be treated with care for a few days before they could balance by themselves and were in a reasonable condition of health.

Ginny shrugged off the bad incident and joined Luna and Hermione with a glint of sorrow still lingering in her facial expression.

"The puddings are heaven," Luna said in her weird tone of voice that always made her vulnerable to being an outcast.

"You're right Ginny, the frogs are magnificent," chirped Hermione, having a quick glance around her.

"I never lie do I," Ginny replied trying to push away her sorrow in return of her friend's delight. Once again, the atmosphere seemed almost perfect with all the laughter and bustling chatters of the wizards and witches.

" 'ere Harry 'ave some of these," Hagrid handed over a large cup of butterbeer. "It's on me for being a true lad,"

"Thanks Hagrid," Harry's expression was dull but he managed to smile for the sake of the caretaker.

"So, yer friends 'ave been worried bout ya… Ya still mad?" Hagrid settled down on one of the logs nearby.

"I… I feel sorry for them especially for Ron. His brother had just died and he… forgave me but I know it'll never be the same with just George and no Fred. Everyone died for me and I don't find myself to be a true hero. If anyone should be awarded for bravery, it should be Neville, not me. He continued and brought up the Dumbledore's Army even though Death Eaters were running the school. Most of all I can't believe that Snape actually died, he was… he was…" Harry struggled with the massive amounts of words he wanted to explain to Hagrid but he failed in doing so.

" E protected ya 'arry," Hagrid finished off Harry's sentence then took a big gulp of butterbeer and petted one of his creatures.

"I know he did," was all Harry could work out to answer the giant friend of his.

"You should be running along now. Such lad as ya should be rejoicing Voldie's death an' I'm sure ya friends will forgive ya," Hagrid smiled and gave Harry a push before the hero walked away with a smile on his face instead of his sullen look.

Grindiwald stirred in his prison cell, waiting for Lucius Malfoy to break him out of there. He had been imprisoned for a very long time now and his anger was rising every second when he learned the news that Voldemort had died and he was unable to be retrieved him out of his soulless cell. Together with the Death Eaters that are still alive, they will bring Voldemort out of his limbo and once again advance towards Hogwarts and destroy all in its path. After all, Tom Riddle's last horcrux was known to be alive and he could use and manipulate him into the rebirth of Lord Voldemort. The plan has been well planned for years now but it only has to be set into motion till Harry Potter will vanish together with Hogwarts.

The darkness was suddenly interrupted by a blinding flash of light.

"Alohomora!" Lucius approached the cell with his wand pointed to the charmed lock. A great big burst of metal was exploded in the air and the door slowly opened itself.

"Ah… Lucius. Took you long enough?" questioned Gridiwald enduring long white scruffy hair and an oily expression.

"I got hold up sir," Lucius replied obediently. "Shall we advance on our plan sire?"

"Yes we shall,"

With that both men disappeared out of the darkness.
