Emma walked into the elevator, thinking of all she had to do today, bag slung over her shoulder: she nodded to the man in the corner, while pressing the button for floor 16. She had to go meet a client, then rush home, put supper in the oven, and go pick up her son from his...adopted mothers, as she called her. Emma didn't like Henry spending too much time there, scared that even though he was the one that had found her, he would forget about her. She had put him up for adoption when he was a baby, and had been surprised when a year ago a boy had turned up on her doorstep declaring he was her son. Since then, he had become her everything, once he had convinced her he was really hers.

Emma smoothed her black shirt down, covering the top of her skinny jeans. She glanced down to make sure her knee high boots where done up. She had left her apartment in a rush, and was so annoyed with herself that she had forgotten her jacket. She breathed in, trying to calm herself, knowing she had an important meeting in less than two minutes. She smelled the old elevator, which wasn't a pleasant smell, but there was another smell, two actually, mixed together, two smells that made her smile without meaning to. Pine and rum, who knew they would smell amazing together. They were calming and yet exhilarating at the same time, surprisingly.

She suddenly became aware of the feeling of someone watching her. With only one other perils on in the elevator, it took no time for her to realize it was him. She glanced at where it said what floor they were on, catching a glance of him while doing it. Floor 14, not long till she could be out if this metal box.

Suddenly the elevator jerked, throwing Emma off balance, flinging her into the arms if the strange mans arms, he kept her upright, letting her go as soon as the elevator shuttered to a halt, but not before she caught another whiff of that amazing smell, realizing it was him who smelled so divine. Emma said a quick thanks that he nodded in return to, then turned to the door, confused.

"What happened?" She asked, the elevator said they were on floor 15, but they weren't opening and it definitely wasn't moving anymore. She went over and pressed the button to open the door, ignoring the man behind her when he started to say "Love, I wouldn't do..."

The doors opened, showing a wall, no door, no opening to get out of, they were in between floors. The man walked over and closed the door again. "I told you you didn't want to open them love." He said as Emma looked around, starting to panic.

"We are trapped?! They'll get it moving soon again, they have to, I have a meeting and have to pick up Henry and..."

Emma was stopped from pacing by two hands (well actually, one hand and one hook, which she thought was very strange) pinning her arms against her side, and two eyes looking into hers. "Love, calm down, this sort of thing happens all the time. You will be okay, and back to your normal day very soon. They will get us out in no time, be strong and brave like I'm sure you are."

Emma breathed in, his scent still did wonders to calm her, making it so she could breath easier and think rationally. She breathed out. "Okay, I'm calm. If we are going to be stuck together, even if only for a few minutes, hi, I'm Emma." She said.

The man raised his eyebrow, let go of her and moved back just far enough for her to extend her hand, he took it, saying "Hello Emma love, the name is Killian."
