Alice opened the door of her Porsche and slid out of the car; she straightened up with the poise of a ballerina and walked slowly forward through the pelting rain. She did not tend to extremes of emotion as a rule but the fire that burned in her eyes was raw and unmistakable.
She walked into the nearest building, making no noise with each step, no-one could have heard her approach.
"You've taken him, and now, you pay." The words seemed to almost pelt out of her mouth as hard as the rain that was pouring from the skies, each word weighed with emotion so deep they could knock a person out by just hearing them.
From outside the words she uttered were barely audible over the rain, but the screams after were. The pain in their voices obvious, their shrieks likened to that of wounded animals. Then all was quiet, except for a strange tapping noise heard within.
Then the door opened, Alice stepped out, the fire in her eyes intensified.
"They'll all pay. Every single one them." She uttered each word as if it was a curse, got back into her Porsche and drove, a vampire on a mission.
