There's not many things more startling than waking up, and hearing somebody yell in your ear. Especially with a highly fake southern accent, and a sentence such as...
"We's gonna git hitched"
I groaned running my hand through my hair, I flopped myself out of bed, forgetting to use my feet and landed on my stomach with my nose making a loud crack on somebody's shoes. Straightening myself up, I walked across the musty hotel room into a dingy bathroom and held a cloth against my painful, oozing nose. I was assessing the damage to my nose, when he spoke.
"Hey there Sammy" His voice softer than usual "Long time no see"
"GABRIEL" My voice louder than intended
"Gabe for short" He chuckled.
He took my face in his hands, slowly moving his finger down my face, the pain subsided, and he pulled his hand away.
I turned to him, he looked a little unusual, not so much like his trickster self.
"I came to tell you that I like you," He murmured "Cassy boy made me."
"Um"
"Please don't hate me"
"Let's walk, I don't know what I would do if my brother eaves dropped" I replied and his face lit up a bit.
We started walking out of the hotel and a few blocks to the burger place.
"So by like you mean Love like?" I asked
"Yeah," He whispered "Why do you think I spared you so many times?"
"But aren't angels, like isn't there some law about angels falling in love or something?"
"Not that I know of"
We were crossing the street in front of the burger place, when a car came speeding around the corner and ran straight into us.
I woke up in my hotel bed foggy and warm feeling, Gabe sat at the bed edge, whistling.
"I used some of my powers to fix you, but it may feel like you're under a drug for the night, kind of a side effect of any major healing, but I couldn't fix your one arm, arms are my mortal enemy. So it's wrapped up." He said turning to face me.
"Thanks," I whispered, "Come here, I want to cuddle"
We sat in the bed, cuddled against each other, and the blanket wrapped tight around us.
It must have been a slightly funny sight, one really big guy, cuddling and hugging the one shorter guy with brown hair and light brown eyes, leaned against him.
It sure surprised Dean though, the screaming that woke us up probably could have been heard for miles around.
