Alice was standing on a street across from a park and a woman asked her what she was doing so Alice told her "I was waiting for a friend to pick me up on his motorbike and take me to a party" after a few minutes the woman asked what kind of party Alice was going to so Alice told her "a harry potter themed one some of the actors are going to be there and all my college friends" so the woman smiled at Alice. five minutes before the party started Alice's mate wasn't there so the same woman asked who it was she was waiting for so Alice told her "my mate Shane" and then she started walking. when Alice got to the party she was ten minutes late but then she realised she had told my friends that she would be arriving with someone and she didn't want them to think she was lying but as Alice stood outside someone came up behind her and asked why she wasn't inside so Alice told them without looking "I'm not going in because I told my friends I would arrive with a date but I've been stood up" so the other person asked "do you want to go in with me?" and Alice was wary but as she turned round she saw it wasn't someone from the college but David thewlis so she went in with him and as she walked in everyone from the college gasped and came over.
