Chapter 1
The day was going great so far. There had been no rude or jealous comments from Laruen. I hadn't tripped today and gym was really fun. I "accidentally" hit Mike and Laruen volleyballs. Everyone (besides them, of course) got a kick out of that. And I have an excuse because I'm like that anyway so…hehe. Anyway I'm sitting in my meadow with the love of my life, Edward. He seemed distant, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
"Edward, what's wrong?" Edward shook his head at me and sighed. He is never like this; I wonder what is wrong with him. We sit there in silence for a moment or so when Edward started talking.
"Bella, I want to ask you a question, but I don't know how to say it," he said
"Well just say," I urged him on.
"Well, I love you very much so, and I was wondering if youwouldmarryme?" he said the last part so fast I couldn't understand him.
"What?"
He took a deep breath and said "Will you marry me?"
I wasn't expecting that one. Did I want to marry him? OF COURSE I DID! He is like a freakin Greek God! Why wouldn't I marry him? He is smart, talented, and kind! WHO WOULDN'T WANT THAT! Edward must have thought my quietness as a no, because he started babbling.
"It was a stupid question, I shouldn't have said anything. I'll understand if you don't wa-" I had to put my hand over his mouth to stop him from talking.
"Edward, yes I'll marry you," I said with a smile.
"What?"
"I said yes,"
Edward picked me up and spun me around a million times. Then, something kicked in. We have to tell Charlie.
