I do not own the short segment of the song I begin the story with, it just fit the character. This is my first D&D story, but I enjoy the game and I thought I'd try my hand at it. Based loosely off an adventure a group of my friends and I participated in. This is just the Prologue. I will be updating with the rest shortly.

Prologue

I Sit.

In my desolate room.

No lights.

No Music.

Just anger.

I killed everyone.

I'm away forever.

But I'm feeling better.

How do I feel?

What do I say?

"Fuck you,"

it all goes away.

"Fuck you," I screamed at the cage doors. The guards were poking me, prodding me, teasing me. For what? I did nothing. Nothing an ordinary man wouldn't do. The wealth I was offered. The power, the glory! Oh, it tasted so sweet to me then! I craved it, I lusted for it, but they couldn't see . No, the others couldn't see how amazing the whole experience was. What it could have been. They stopped me from achieving my goals. They were expendable in the big picture. What did it matter? Yes, I killed a few people. Sure, they were innocent, but they blocked me. Impeded my progress. Didn't anyone see that? Didn't any see I had a plan worked out for them and everyone else in this pathetic, little world? No. All they saw was a stupid, dumb, lumbering half-orc that only knew how to bash things in with a hammer. This is what my people are reduced to. Idiots on the fringe of society.

I lunged towards the bars and the humans shrunk back, but continued to laugh at me before they decided to move on to another prisoner and harass him. I lay on my 'bed' made of straw and a burlap sack I called a blanket. They would never know the grandeour I was going to accomplish with the others gone. I lay my head down and attempted to drift off to sleep, my dreams permeated by the memories of my past leading up to the present.
