Description: He nicknamed her Pearls because her eyes were as beautiful and wanted as actual pearls.
"Oi! Pearls, wait for me!" Naruto yelled as he ran up to her. He skidded to a halt next to the self-conscious Hyuuga and presented to her one of his largest smiles.
She turned to him, her hands held to her chest, a small and heartwarming smile tugging her lips. Her cheeks were pink with embarrassment, but she didn't seem humiliated or angry: just happy.
"H-Hello, Naruto-kun!" She greeted him, whitened eyes looking at him with fancy.
He placed a hand on her shoulder, making the pink on her cheeks turn red. He hoped she wouldn't faint again from blushing so much. He always got so worried about her when she did that. "You want to go get some ramen with me? I heard there's a discount today!" He told her excitedly.
Hinata nodded her head quickly, smiling brighter as she did so. Her teeth were bright and clean; exactly what you'd expect from a Hyuuga.
He pulled his hand away from her shoulder and gripped her hand firmly and started to drag her towards the ramen stand. He heard her squeak in shock at the sudden movement, but settled quickly and followed along with him easily.
Naruto and Hinata stepped into the stand and seated themselves on two of the swivel chairs towards the end of the bar styled counter.
The old man who worked the stand smiled down at his best customer and winked at him suggestively when he spotted Hinata sitting next to him.
"I'll have the two pork ramen!" Naruto ordered, his stomach aching slightly from the anticipation of the upcoming meal.
Hinata poked her fingers together, still recovering from the wink that the old man had given Naruto and looked towards him, "I-I'll have the miso, please." She muttered, cheeks burning up again.
"Sure thing!" The man said and turned around; his daughter was already starting the meals.
Naruto turned to her and placed a hand on her cheek, the heat soaking through her cheek and into his cold fingers. He continued to smile at her; his touch making her blush deeper.
"Pearls-chan, you really must stop blushing. You'll faint again." He advised her, his blue eyes looking at her with care.
Her large white ones looked at him with amazement. She stuttered some quiet words that he couldn't hear and stared at his eyes.
Azure clashed with pearl.
Her eyes always did fascinate him. They were powerful and yet so beautiful. They were gorgeous just like pearls… Pearls. Her eyes were the reason why he had nicknamed her Pearls.
So pretty…
He turned his attention away from her eyes and looked down at his two steaming bowls of ramen… Now, how was he going to consume them both and not have the neglected one grow cold on him?
He bared his teeth in yet another smile and broke his chopsticks. "Itadakimas!" Naruto cheered and dug in.
Hinata broke her chopsticks as well and murmured a small 'Itadakimas!' herself and started to eat her ramen.
Naruto looked at her from the corner of his eye, staring at the side of her pearly eye. They really were pretty…
