Takes place during Prime 3, right after the Command Courtyard cutscene.

Samus had landed on the Pirate Homeworld, and had entered the center of their industry, the aptly-named "Command Courtyard". As she looked over a hill, she could see a group of pirates. They numbered around 20, and were gathered around a medium sized theatre stage. One of them, probably the leader, was speaking.

"Okay, people, we've only got one week to do this, so let's get it right this time. Places everyone, schnell, schnell."

Samus looked on as all but 7 pirates, the leader included, moved behind the stage's curtain. She was unsure what to make of it.

"And, action!"

Music came on, and she watched as they… they began to sing.

"Germany was having trouble
What a sad, sad story
Needed a new leader to restore
Its former glory
Where, oh, where was he?
Where could that man be?
We looked around and then we found
The man for you and me."

Then she watched as the 6 pirates onstage retreated. Then the curtains opened, and there stood a lone pirate in the black dress uniform of a shield squadron officer. He too began to sing.

"And now it's
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Deutschland is happy and gay
We're marching to a faster pace
Look out
Here comes the master race

Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Winter for Poland and France
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Come on, Germans
Go into your dance."

Then 12 more pirates, all wearing shield squadron dress uniforms, came out onto the stage and started dancing. One on the far right of the stage stepped up.

"I was born in Dusseldorf
And that is why they call me Rolf."

He retreated, and then another from the far left stepped up.

"Don't be stupid, be a smarty
Come and join the Nazi party."

The pirates continued to dance while Samus looked on, very confused by the spectacle she was beholden to. The pirates then turned to the right, and, with hands outstretched in salute, started doing as close an approximation to goose-stepping as they could.

"Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Goosestep's the new step today
Bombs falling from the skies again
Deutschland is on the rise again."

They then regrouped into the shape of a swastika, and move in such a way as to make it appear to be turning.

"Springtime for Hitler and Germany
U-boats are sailing once more
Springtime for Hitler and Germany"

They then broke formation, and resumed dancing.

"Means that soon we'll be going
We've got to be going
You know we'll be going to war."

The music climaxed, and then ended. The leader then addressed them all.

"Wunderbar, everyone. I'm sure Commando 005 will be very pleased at his birthday surprise."

Watching their performance from afar, Samus found she had unconsciously unhooked her arm cannon, and was softly clapping. She smiled-it had been a good performance.

Author's note- Yes, the Space Pirates did just perform "Springtime for Hitler". See, the way I see them, the Space Pirates are little more than intergalactic Nazi's, so in my perspective, this scene makes total sense. However, the original shock value of the performance is lost, due to WWII having been almost 2,000 ago in the Metroid universe.
