"I love you…" he smiled sweetly at her.
Lies.
"Promise you'll never leave," she whispered, leaning into him.
Impossible.
"I promise."
You promised!
"You're my imprint," he murmured softly into her ear. "I'll love you forever."
Lies! Lies!
"Don't go," she whispered. "Please don't leave me."
Why did you lie?!
The scene changed.
"I'm sorry," he looked at her expressionlessly. "I was going to tell you…it slipped my mind."
How could you?
"How can getting someone pregnant slip your mind?!" her screech sounded harsh with the echoes it produced.
Why?
"It just happened," his voice was blunt. "We were drunk. Just messing around."
Stop…make it stop!
"This can't just happen!" she screamed. "You can't just knock someone up!"
