Third POV:
It was a normal day in destiny islands. On the Main Island people were shopping, sleeping in, playing around, or talking. But on the play Island, there were six people, three men and three Pre-Teens. They were there every Thursday through Sunday, Training for a Threat that may never come. "Riku, Leo, Ven above you" Sora yelled while Roxas jumped out of the tree house swinging a Struggle bat. Riku Jr. jumped out of the way, While Leo raised his bat to defend himself. Ven swung in vain to strike him out of the air. Roxas swung back and beamed Riku Jr. in the head sending him into the sand, then twisted in mid air and drop kicked Ven.
While Riku Sr. struck furiously at Leo's bat but he never broke his guard Leo Hikari Son of Sora stepped inside of Riku's (Senior) Thrust and disarmed him quickly, and held the false blade to his throat. Sora clapped a bit and walked to their students/children. "Nice work Leo, But I never said disarm your opponent" Sora said. "I know dad but I reacted on instinct" Leo said hanging his head. Sora nodded "your form was a little off balance" Sora informed. "I'll show you again" he said grabbing his own bat.
Leo spoke up to give Sora his argument. "Dad why do I have to fight like you, if every fighter has their own abilities and style, why can't I?" he asked. He expected Sora to get ticked off but he just smiled like he was awarded with 4, 0000 munny for sleeping. "Very good Leo, you have passed your first test of being a keybearer, the second is this" he spun on heel and swept Ven's feet from under him causing him to face plant in the sand again. "be ready for ANYTHING" he said helping the young one up. Leo smiled at Sora and realized something he and father looked almost exactly alike except for their eyes. Sora's were Blue and Leo's were golden. Leo shook his head dismissing the thought.
Riku Junior or RJ as most know him, spit in the sand. 'He always gets praise, My dad acts like I'm a weakling' he thought bitterly and put on a soulless grin. "Well we should get ready for dinner, right?" he announced and put his bat down. Leo and Ven decided to stay to practice that disarming move on each other. RJ nodded "take your time, I'll take your plates" he joked and walked to the boats, leaving one for the other's so they can get home.
Leo got into his fighting stance as did Ven. Ven made the first move by thrusting at Leo, Who preformed his Dodge Flip. Leo twirled his bat and taunted Ven by waving him over, Ven took the bait and struck again and again until his was breathing heavily. Leo stepped into Vens next thrust and knocked the bat out of his hand. "Disarmed, Nice Match" Leo said withdrawing the bat from his neck. Ven shrugged "I wasn't really trying" he lied, mentally face palming and scolding himself. The Duo jumped on Ven's Boat and sailed back to the main island unaware of Leo's destiny for the next morning.
So how was it, Love it, hate it, doesn't matter to me but I'll keep on typing this stuff.
