In honor of Single Awareness Day, this story will look at our favorite pairings. Disclaimer: I don't own SSBB.

Samus' POV: I am so happy today is Valentine's Day. It will finally give me a chance to tell my armored hero how I feel about him. Ike Greil, the most serious, yet so understanding person at the Smash Mansion. He caught my attention when he arrived in Brawl. Then he stole my heart that one time when I was injured. It wasn't critical, but a pretty bad wound. He showed so much care. It also gave allowed me to admire his handsome features even more. And there was that time that I saw him without his shirt on. He was working out, and I happened to glance and walked on before he noticed. So much has come on me, He has only been here for a month. I must tell him how I feel so I can enjoy the rest of the day with him. That is of course, if he has the same feelings for me. Peach and Zelda already have their day planned. I want to have the day I have dreaded for so long to be special, different from all other years.

Ike's POV: Valentine's Day? Why do they come up with stupid holidays like this? A day for married couples, lovers, and a day to remind singles how alone they are. What are they going to come up with next? Idiot Day? The only reason I want this 'Holiday' is to give me a reason to tell Samus how I really feel about her; more than a comrade, partner, friend. Her beauty hit me first time. Then when she was injured, I wanted to help her. Being a mercenary leader gives you that feeling, or sense. I love every second I have to spend with her. Today makes the perfect opportunity for me to confess my feelings to Samus. I go over to her door and knock on the door. She opens it (being the only one there since Peach and Zelda are with Link and Mario). "Samus, I have something to tell you." I said.
"Go ahead." I was about to confess, then we both heard,
"IKE!" I told Samus I'd be right back than went down to see who in the name of Sam Hill wanted me. I was shocked to see Aimee, the merchant woman who always tried to catch me, was down there all smiles. "Aimee, why are you here?" I asked all confused.
"I found out that February 14 was a holiday for love and romance, so I thought I'd come here and find my love. And look who I found." I start feeling sick, she tries to drag me away, but I am able to convince her that I need to go grab a few things, and told her wait in the lobby. I go to my room, lock it, now I am trying to find a way to escape the grasp of Aimee. But to no avail, Aimee is outside my room; she was at the door and is telling me to get out. I open the door she drags me out. "You're mine now. I can finally have my dream guy by my side." Fortunately Samus stops her.

Samus' POV: When Ike left I wondered who wanted him. By the way that Ike was Sprinting to his room, I guessed he was either happy or trying to escape. I couldn't tell. Then I saw this pretty woman walk towards Ike's room and knock, I thought nothing of it until she said Ike was her dream guy. Jealousy shot through my veins. "Who said he was yours." I said. The woman looked at me in disgust and said,
"Why don't you go find your own guy." Ike pushed away from her and said,
"Aimee, I love Samus, not you." She goes away 'crying' (trying to get Ike to go to her). And we lightly kiss, something I have wanted to do Since that one other time I was at the beach with him.
