Prompt: Colors

Title: Not in Overland Anymore

Three years. It had taken Alice three whole years to answer her questions and complete her tasks. Now, she was finally going back to Underland, her home. She was excited to return. She was beyond excited! She was ecstatic! She was ecstatic to leave the dreary, gray city that was London, and rejoin a world overflowing with color. Bright greens, oranges, yellows, purples, blues, and… well just about every color imaginable or unimaginable. Color was everywhere, in everyone's eyes, hair, even in their voices. The smell of all the different teas at the Mad Tea Party started out yellow, or did it start out blue? Maybe it was green, with a hint of brown. There were so many different teas, different colors, different things, experiences, smells, sights, sounds, feelings, people, and ideas being thrown around, often quite literally.

In Overland, everything was expected to be modest and calm. Grey dominated the air in London, what with all the clouds. In Underland, the clouds were sometimes pink during a sunset, or blue as the sun disappeared, or purple as it rose, or green, for no reason other than a whim. They simply felt like being green.

One thing was for certain, Alice thought as she fell down the rabbit hole, once again, It wasn't like Overland here, and that was the best part of all of it.
