Just a little clack drabble that I had laying around. No warnings here just some fluff and a implied boyxboy relationship. You know the drill if you cant deal. I own nothing....

Memories

"Just let go Zack!" Cloud whined a bit as he tried desperately to pry his friend's hands from his eyes. It was to no avail though and he wondered why he even tried as Zack's mako enhanced body made it practically impossible for him to wiggle out of the sturdy grip.

"I already told you Spike." Zack's voice filled with mirth floated into his ears. "I'm not letting go until we get there."

Sometimes, Cloud had no idea why Zack did some of the things he did. To leading him somewhere practically blindfolded to pulling him out of class to just to share some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on his lunch break. He'd concluded long ago that Zack was the strangest person he'd ever met. Not that he was honestly complaining.

"If I trip over something I'm going to kill you."

"Like I'd let you trip over something." The black haired soldier laughed warmly as his hands only tightened around the cadet's eyes.

"I'm not joking." The blond warned.

"I'm not either."

Cloud felt a tug on his arm and he stopped, perking his ears as he tired to figure out where they were. It was silent though, no one milling around, no sound of gunfire or angry first sergeants. They had to be near Zack's place. First's were the only ones that had the blessings of silence and privacy.

He heard a door creak open and he was gently pushed inside, the scent of…was that Wutainies?

He was lead in a little further and then the hands dropped away. Cloud blinked once and then again letting his eyes drop down to Zack's kitchen table where a smorgasbord of little Wutainies food cartons were placed out on the table. He could tell by the scent invading his nose and the slight grumbling in his stomach that they were filled with all of his favorites.

Zack's strong arms returned but this time they encircled his waist, pulling him tightly back against his chest.

"I thought that we could just stay in here all day eating Wutainies and watching movies." Cloud could feel Zack's slow, relaxed grin spreading against the back of his neck.

"What did I do to deserve this?" The blond questioned before letting himself melt back into Zack's hold.

"Can't a guy treat his best friend to dinner just to be nice?"

Cloud smiled slightly but wasn't buying it.

"Alright then. What did you do?"

"Sheesh," The first class soldier rested his chin on the blonds shoulder. "Try and do something nice and you give me the third degree." Cloud could still hear a smile in Zack's voice even as he whined. "But if you really must know it's a celebration of sorts." Cloud quirked an eyebrow and let his blue eyes lock with Zack's. "Can you guess why today is special?"

Cloud thought about it. It wasn't their anniversary…he had made sure to commit that to memory and he really didn't think he'd done anything that deserved recognition…so what were they celebrating?

"I have no idea." The blond licked his lips, hunger getting the best of him.

"Today is the six month anniversary of the day we met." Zack kissed his temple and Cloud shivered. "And I thought that I had a bad memory."
