Lovely in face,

With a smile of sweetness,

A waterfall of honey-colored hair,

And her lyre-song voice,

Who could forget beautiful Helen of Troy?

No one can sense the cruelty in her features,

Or the poison behind her sweet smile,

Her golden hair has the lure of a carnivorous flower,

No one can hear the barbs in her songbird's voice.

The beautiful Helen of Troy hides a tigress behind her pretty face.

Called a daughter to the gods,

Made the queen of Sparta,

It was she that offended her parents with an act of treason,

She who left behind her children and husband,

She herself could be called a deity of deception.

Songbirds flitted around her sun-touched locks,

She let the sun smile upon her,

Until she turned away from those who loved her,

Those songbirds will find another to love,

No sun will reflect upon her beauty again.

She may be beautiful,

But she has the heart of stone,

Or no heart at all,

Because of her disloyalty,

She has lost everything held dear to her.

This is the story of Helen of Troy
