AN: Sorry I haven't really updated much. Kind of went into writer's block, and I also didn't really feel like writing. Clones R Us is still going on, but a few people asked me to do stories about the main Titans...so here it is. :P

Storms didn't happen very often in Jump City. Especially not during the summer time, when the city was in the middle of a small drought. But when the time came and a storm did pass over, they were monstorous. One minute it would be a calm day with a shimmering sun, the next minute clouds would turn grey and dark. They would form and capture the sun's light, and cry over the lands. If they were in a truly awful mood, they would create a tanrum of thunder and a flash of lightning would commence. In other words, it was not a pretty sight.

Today was one of those times. The sky was a pitch black, even when it wasn't that late at night. The only sounds were the rain, along with the booming voice of thunder that would occassionaly ring. A certian green titan was snuggling underneath a cluster of blankets, for he feared the storms wrath ever since he was younger. Beast Boy sighed and huddled his stuffed lion named Shujaa close. He had Shujaa ever since he was little, and even though he was too old for toys now, Shujaa was special. He was a gift from his mother after all. Even when Garfield was scared, Shujaa was always there to comfort him.

~Flashback~

"Mommy, I'm s-scared." A six year old Garfield shivered. "I-I-I thought I heard thunder..." He clutched Shujaa close.

Marie Logan smiled softly. "Gar, don't worry dearest. I'm here." Young Garfield climbed up into his parents bed, sniffling slightly.

"I-I don't like it here, mama. It's scary."

"I know baby, it's hard to get used to new places. But believe me, it will get better." She hugged her son. "Besides, it's like an adventure."

"An adventure?"
"Yes, think about all the new and wonderful animals you're going to meet!"

"I-I guess...it's just...th-the rain...it's loud and scary and-"

"They can be, Garfield. However it's always better to face your fears then run from them, don't let them know that they frightened you. " Marie ruffled his hair. "How about you sleep with me and daddy tonight?" Marie asked.

Garfield nodded.

~End of Flashback~

Beast Boy smiled at the celing. Storms were still scary, but he couldn't let them get to him. When a crash of thunder hit, he yelped in surprise. Okay, they were still terrifiying. He grumbled and trudged out of bed. There was no way he was going to sleep in this circumstance. He was about to get a midnight snack when he heard footsteps. He shrieked and recoiled in fear, shutting his eyes as he prepared for the worst.

"Glad you think so highly of me, Beast Boy." A dry voice said.

"R-Rae? Oh jeez I'm sorry dudette I didn't-" He opened his eyes, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.

"It's fine. This storm is driving everyone off the wallls."

Beast Boy chuckled. "Yeah."
"I was just going to get some tea. What are you doing up so late?"
"I could ask you the same thing."

"Fair enough, but I am always up at this hour."

"Really? I-I mean I just couldn't sleep. 'Kept thinking about stuff...and storm's kind of freak me out."

Raven walked over to the changling. "I understand." The goth stared into his eyes.

Beast Boy blushed. "Well, um...goodnight."

"Goodnight."

AN: Until next time! :D
