Sakura pushed her auburn hair out of her emerald eyes, looking up at the full moon. She leaned back against the large oak, twirling a long branch through her fingers. She distinctly thought she could hear the dryad's heartbeat pounding through the thick layers of bark. She sighed, watching as the white light from the moon danced across the grass in front of her, blowing lightly in the soft wind.
"I thought I might find you here." a deep voice said, startling Sakura. She looked up to find a pair of honey coloured eyes staring down at her, filled with pain, and worry. The young man of 18 sat down next to her, his unruly brown hair falling into his eyes. As he brushed it out Syaoran asked,
"Why did you run out? Everyone's worried about you." Sakura snorted, and looked out across the field in disgust.
"I hardly believe that." Sakura said, thinking back a few moments as she adjusted her skirt.
