Prologue
Albert POV
I woke very suddenly and looked around me. I was in a cornfield somewhere. Breathing heavily, I remembered being a robot and that was it.
I looked at my hand and noticed red bits. It was real human blood. Then, I put my hands on my chest. I felt a heart beat. A real human heart. I moved my arm and noticed it wasn't mechanical. It was human bones. Then it clicked. I'm now a fully fleshed human.
People started coming to me and started speaking German. Of course I didn't understand them but I also remembered the name Mae and an address.
