Blind
'Just because you can see does not mean you are not blind'

How could I have been so blind? I missed the most important thing in my life for what? I trophy girlfriend to turn into a wife?
Why did I not see her waiting for me to open my eyes and see her live for me. Her calls for when she said she needed to talk with Ino, when she knew she was away. Her talking to me when I was down while Ino was gabbing away with some friend.
I was so blind and now look where I stand. At her grave with no body to fill it. Its been almost six months since Sakura said she could not attend the wedding between Ino and I do to a mission that she said was routine.
It was all a lie.
Just yesterday Kakashi, Naruto, Sai, Yamto, and I where called by the elders saying they had news on Sakura. There they told us about the mission. It was a suicide mission with no chance for her coming home to us.
So now we stand at an empty grave, Ino at my side crying her eyes out over 'Forehead' as she calls Sakura. One hand is on my shoulder while the other rest on the bulge where our child is growing.
Naruto has one arm around Hinata while they both cry silent tears. For once Naruto is silent.
Kakashi stands silent and still. The porn book he always so fond of tucked away somewhere.
Yamto is beside Kakashi, his hands in his pockets and just looking at the small stone that has her name on it.
Sai stands beside Yamto. His eyes are sad and cold. A single tear finds it's way down his face.
There are countless other ninja of Konoha and a few from Suna standing around us all. There all silent. They all knew her. They all at one point had her heal a wound they had gotten. They had all taken her for granted just like me.
Slowly everyone drifts away, soon only I am the only on left. Ino had been taken home by Kakashi.
"Im sorry Sakura. I'm sorry for being so blind," I let the letter that I had written to Sakura months before she went on her final mission as a Konoha ninja. Its just one line but it says it all.
'Sometime everyone needs help seeing'.
And that's what I got.
The help I asked for, just not in the way I wished for it to happen.
