Someone Like You

I heard, that you settled down, that you, found a girl, and you're married now…

I watched as, tears prickled down my check, Piper and Jason on the chair, Piper crying, and Jason comforting her.

I heard that your dreams came true, guess she gave you things, I didn't give to you.

Piper slowly dried her tears, then sitting on the bed, petting her golden colored kitten.

Old friend, why are you so shy? Ain't like you to hold back, or hide from the light.

Jason slowly tilted his head up, seeing as I check on all the cabins like I usually do. Then, walking away from the window's sight.

I used to turn out of the blue, uninvited but I, couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it. I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded

That for me it isn't over.

I looked back at the sun rising, I smiled, I still had hope.

I left my letter for Jason's good luck, and left the cabin for mine.
