The history of Waglington the 1st
James "Waglington" Hayes was born in 1994DM into a minor political family in the town of Deruna. It was in this town that he would meet his friends and wizardly allies Matthew "Dragon" Needler, Phil "Brute" Southam and Tom "Killer" Beer and it would be then that they called themselves "The Contractors".
After finishing school at the age of 16, the four men would travel around the land while helping the people with building their homes and stores. It was also in their travels that they would receive word that Waglington's mother had taken ill and wanted to see her son one more time. As Waglington travelled to his home back in Deruna, it would be revealed that Lord Hayes had tricked his son into returning before revealing that he had made a marriage contact to an unknown woman.
Waglington would become infuriated at this deception and unleashed what would be known in the town as "The Novaflare incident" in which Waglington would unleash the early stages of his magical abilities and summoned a falling star to crash into his home thus killing his parents and destroying a large portion of the land surrounding his home. Waglington would be banished from the town of Deruna and resumed his travels to the world not knowing that the gods known as Ianite, Mianite and Dianite had found his magical signature and took a liking to him.
