Chapter 1
It had been 5 years since Troy and Gabriella had spoken or seen each other. They broken up after being together 3 years and haven't seen each other since. Sharpay had continued acting. She had been in 4 west end shows and Ryan had helped choreograph the dances in each show. Chad had continued playing basketball with troy and now they were professionals. Taylor and Gabriella were still super brainy and worked in a chemistry lab. Troy had been out with Sharpay in the 5 years for a while but it didn't work out. Now everyone was 24 doing the things they loved. Sharpay, Gabriella and Taylor were best friends as were Troy, Ryan and Chad. But they couldn't all hang out like old time because of all the things that had happened between them over the years. Gabriella and troy wouldn't even look at each other and since Taylor and Chad had broken up all they ever seemed to do was fight and argue.
"Hurry up gabby, were going to be late" Taylor shouted upstairs
Taylor and Gabriella had promised to go and watch Sharpay in her new west end show.
"im coming" she replied racing downstairs
"he better not be there!" Gabriella said sternly sitting in the car.
"I don't think Troys going if that's what you mean." Taylor replied laughing.
Meanwhile…
Troy and Chad were also driving to the show.
"you promise Gabriella wont be there"
"yh im pretty certain, I hope Taylor isn't there ever since we broke up all we ever do is argue when we see each other"
"at least you've seen her I haven't seen gabby for 5 years and we haven't spoken to each other since we broke up, I don't even know what I would say first" troy said remembering the times they spent together.
"oh yh why did you break up I never really asked you" Chad asked curiously
"we both had very different career choices and decided it would be the best thing to finish, but then we started arguing, it got messy, and I haven't seen her since"
They all gathered at the show it was called miss popularity Sharpay was playing a popular girl who everyone wished they were, like she was in high school.
"oh no " Gabriella shouted turning round trying to get out
Gabriella had walked to her seat to find that she was next to Troy. Troy also saw that he had to sit by Gabriella.
"you told me she wouldn't be here!" troy said sternly to Chad
"oh well at least you've seen her now. Oh no Taylor's here as well!" he whispered back
Gabriella took her seat no wanting to make a fuss. She didn't look at Troy and turned her back to him.
