PROLOGUE
When two souls meet each other in this world for the first time, a bond is formede, and whether that bond is broken or not is up to the two souls involved. We drift through each day, wandering about our world, forming and breaking bonds as we go. Such is the way of our world, and that is how it has been for millenia.
Likewise, when two souls have been together through so much, and have connected in ways most will never know or understand, their bond is deeper, truer than just friendship. Two souls, two hearts, are forever one, bound to each other by an eternal bond, never to be broken.
Because when two souls share this deep, profound connection, separation is inevitable. But the beautiful thing is, they are bound to return to one another- in this life or the next. And with each return, the bond can only grow stronger.
I didn't understand that. I still don't, not fully. But there are plenty of things in this world that I don't understand, and most don't either. I suppose that curiosity about the world around us is what drives us forward, keeps us from dying of boredom.
What I do know is that if you don't try to understand things, if you don't act upon that curiosity and never step outside of your comfort zone, that's a life unlived. I didn't realize that until it was almost too late. Life would have passed me by if it hadn't been up to me to make sure I even had a life. We're not promised tomorrow.
But anyways, I know you must be wondering what on earth I'm going on about. Well, someone very close to me once told me something, and I've always held that close to my heart. He told me that every Pokémon deserves a chance to have their story told.
Well, I guess this is my hour...

Heyo! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Pebblemist, usually known as Pebble, and I normally write for the Girl Meets World fandom. I'm not abandoning them, this is simply a way to fight past writer's block. Think of it was a... filler story.
So this is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon- Depths of Oblivion, a story loosely based on the new Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon with elements of the Explorers games as well, in a world of my own creation and more added to the plot... You'll see, lol.
Anyways, this is just the prologue. The real chapters will be much longer, much much longer, I promise. But until that's up, I'd really appricate if you left a review telling me what you think about it so far. Thank you!
