Hey! Welcome to my new fic! This is basically a bunch of short stories about the Fablehaven characters in the past and presents. It will mostly start out with Warnessa (Cuz i just love them) but I will expand to other characters too. I'm not sure about Kendra and Bracken though.. because we already know how they met and stuff, but I probably write some future stories with them. Definitely Trask and Mara stories. Tanu, Seth, Dale, all those characters. So Enjoy!

Chapter 1

The Past : Paths Cross

Vanessa Pov

"You may enter now" The dark tall man said

I nodded and scurried in.

As soon as I entered I let out a sigh

" MY FIRST KNIGHTS MEETING!" I thought " I can't believe this!"

I almost squealed with excitement, "Calm down Vanessa" I thought. "You're suppose to be calm and reveal nothing"

I gather myself and start walking through the crowds of fellow knights.

Hour later...

"Where is that Captain?" I heard someone next to me say, "He's so much later then usual"

I turned around to see a person with a medium built, almost a head taller, wearing the dark cloak and sliver mask mirroring my own.

"You have somewhere to be?" I ask, trying to make small chat

The figure stiffens looks at me and asks " Why you ask? Who have you been talking to?"

I take a step back, " No one.. Why?"

The figure glares at me ( or what I assume is a glare) "I haven't done anything and you can't prove that I did!" He yells and scurries off.

I stare after him, "..." I thought," I didn't know there were so many weirdos in the Knights.."

I walk off in another direction, glance around, not able to recognized anyone.

Finally, someone is nice enough to come introduce themselves. "How are you today?" A feminine voice ask.

Before I could answer, I feel someone slam into me from behind.

I crashed onto to the floor, quickly gather myself and I'm back on my feet within a second, looking for my attacker.

There in front of me was another tall figure, with a medium built, obviously a guy.

"What The Heck?!" I yell, clearly pissed off.

"I'm so sorry!" he blurts " I was so distracted and nervous, I wasn't watching where I was going!"

I look at him weirdly. or a least tried to under my mask

He sighs " You see, its my first time here."

I nod my head "Of Course!" I thought "No wonder he was such an open book, Was I like that earlier?"

"Are you okay" he asks with concern, placing a hand on my shoulder

"Whatever" I say, brushing him off, " Just Watch It Next Time" I say threateningly and stomped off.

"Ugh" I mumble, "I hope I don't get stuck with that klutz during missions"

- BREAKK

Warren POV

I stare after her, the girl who I just completely barreled into.

I paused for a minute, staring at my hand that just touched her shoulder.

"Why is my heart beating faster..?" I thought

"Is is because of..." I shook my head, " Ugh, No way!"

I looked in the direction she walked off in and frowned, " Shes probably some rude, snobby girl."

" I hope I don't end up on a mission with that snob!" Warren mumbled and walked off into the crowd.

Okay, well that's the first chapter.
