Don't Cry, Sakura
Sakura sighed as she watched the object of her affection having a one on one training session with Kakashi. Sasuke had been everything to her from the moment she saw him. She cared about him more than anything, and the feeling only grew stronger once she was put on a team with him.
Yes, after all this time Sakura still loved him. Even after Ino had moved on to Shikamaru, she still believed that Sasuke was the one for her. For her, it had never been a contest. She wasn't using him as another way to make Ino mad.
But Sasuke probably thought she was annoying. He probably went home thinking about how much he hated his team, and how he wished he could just train by himself. It saddened her, knowing that he hated her. She didn't understand how she could love someone that hated her so much.
Uchiha Sasuke was her world. She had told him this many times. She couldn't even count the number of times that she told him how she felt. Each time was just responded with a glance or he would simply walk away. Did he not believe her? She meant every word she said.
He heart melted when she saw him crack a small smile at Naruto. A jealous pang shot through her chest. Naruto was always bringing a tiny grin to Sasuke's face whenever he did something stupid. Naruto was the only one who could break through the wall that Sasuke put up around him. It made her burn with jealousy that Naruto didn't even realize that Sasuke considered him to be his best friend. Sakura would kill just to earn that title from the Uchiha. But in the end, she knew she would just be longing for something more.
But Sasuke Uchiha would never care about her in that way…in fact he may never care about her at all because there was only room for one commitment in his life.
Revenge.
Well, just a little thought that popped in my head. R&R please? I really do love Sasuke, even though it kind of sounds like I'm bashing him here. And this isn't NaruSasu. Unless you reeeeally want to look at it that way.
