Keitaro crash landed on a very expensive looking sports car with blue flames running along its silver body. To say the owner was annoyed was an overstatement. He saw it as more of a minor inconvenience whenever his car got wrecked. Usually, his car was ruined by high-speed street races or bumping other cars off the road. Having somebody crash on top of his car was definitely not something he had expected.

"Are you okay?" the driver asked tensely as he rushed out of his car to help the crash victim. He pulled Keitaro from the roof and gave him a quick once-over, checking for bruises or cracked bones. Surprisingly, there were none. This impressed the driver. He smiled at Keitaro.

"I heal fast. Don't worry about me." Keitaro quickly explained.

"You're an Evo." The driver muttered.

"A what now?" Keitaro questioned as he cleared out his ears.

"I said you're an Evo. An evolved human. Evos have special abilities that vary under many different intensities and types. It seems you're nigh indestructible. I'm like you, only my ability is... replication."

"I don't understand" Keitaro replied with a raised eyebrow. "You replicate, how?"

The man chuckled "I can empathise with others. This gives me the ability to do what other Evos can. Think of me like an ability collector."

"That's kind of scary" Keitaro spoke in a nervous tone.

When a moment of silence passed, the driver held out his hand to Keitaro. "I'm Ben. Ben Riley. Happy to finally meet another Evo after a year of not finding others. A lot of them were hunted down and detained by the government for experiments. Makes you wish you were normal, huh?" Ben ran his other hand through his dark blue dyed hair as he shook hands with Keitaro.

"I do wish I were normal. Maybe then the girls at the Hinata would stop beating the crap out of me like I'm a walking punching bag..." Keitaro groaned sadly.

"I'm willing to give you a ride home if you want it my Evo bro. Not a problem for me as I can call for another car." Ben grinned as he pulled out his phone and tapped a few buttons on the screen. "Yo, Greg? Remember that favour you owe me? Yeah, I know you are busy. Look, if you can get me a replacement of Amy, I'll see that we're finally square. You told me you owed me, now hop to it!" With that, he ended the call with a rather stunned-looking Keitaro.

"Amy? You cal your car Amy?" Keitaro

"Why the heck not? Name her after my first love. I lost Amy to lung cancer, so I kind of named my car after her because I feel close to her when I drive..." After trailing off, Ben sighed sadly before trying to dismiss his own feelings.

"Sorry to hear that. My condolences to you." Keitaro spoke solemnly.

"Don't worry about it" Ben spoke with a small smile "Let's just get you home."
