Endearment
A/N: Alternate/what-if scenario to the Partial Terms of Endearment episode. As much as I feel that any woman should have the right to decide how to deal with any pregnancy, planned or unplanned, that's in real life, and make-believe has its own advantages on pro-life and pro-choice. Also, I'm doing this because it feels right. I don't expect this to be more than one page, either. Here goes.
"…Hold on just a minute," Tom Tucker gasped, going through his news notes more thoroughly. "It seems I made an error on who died and who was injured. Dale and Naomi Robinson were among those injured. It was Richard Wong and Miranda Zander that were killed in the traffic accident."
"Oh," Lois sighed in relief; she was worried about how they were going to deal with the embryo that was Dale and Naomi's only chance at having a family.

Throughout the rest of the pregnancy, Lois had been hassled, either heavily or mildly so, by Peter while Naomi and her husband recovered from their auto-related injuries. Everything was fine with the baby's development, despite Peter's (and Stewie's) stupidity toward Lois for acting as a surrogate for the happy couple.
"Oh!" Lois gasped one day, sitting in a rocking chair Naomi had acquired for the baby while she and Dale were finishing the construction of the crib.
"Lois?" Naomi asked.
"My water just broke," she responded, and they, along with Peter, who was at their house because Lois was there, saw the puddle beneath her soaked bottom.
"Oh!" Naomi gasped.

"…Congratulations," went the doctor, delivering the baby, "it's a girl."
