Chapter one
The sun rose slowly up into the sky and the rays of sunshine seeped through a gap in the red curtains that covered a window to Rebecca Gray's room, it had been painted red with black furniture since they were her favourite colours, a teenage girl around seventeen sat up and gave a yawn her hair was quite dishevelled from turning over a lot in the night, she stood up in her red pyjamas and headed downstairs; she gave a rub of her eyes and gave another yawn as she pulled herself up onto the stool at the kitchen table and watched as her father Gabriel Gray placed her breakfast in front of her
'Thanks Dad'
Rebecca mentioned giving him a small smile before galloping down the pancakes that he had made, she licked her lips of the golden syrup that had coated the food, it was a big day for Rebecca as it was her first day of college and she was looking forward to it, she ran off upstairs to get a shower and got changed into a pair of black jeans with a white t-shirt that had a picture of her favourite rock band on the front then pushed on her converses, she blowed dryed her hair which was; dark brown like Gabriel's, it also had a side fringe and her eyebrows were a little bushy too, she also had to wear glasses so she brought square since they seemed the fashion these days, she collected her things in a bag which she put over her shoulder before running down the stairs
'Dad, I am meeting Amy... '
Rebecca called not sure where her father was but found him sitting in front of the television watching some random show, she walked over and placed a kiss on his head
'Be careful... you know your special and don't go using your abilities'
Sylar mentioned in a warning tone only to get a roll of eyes from Rebecca before she laughed and ran off, if she could use her abilities she would have flown to college but she promised she would walk with Amy.
Amy was a little different to Rebecca, she was a little more girly and loved the colour of purple in fact her whole room was purple, not to mention she had pictures of cats everywhere. She was pretty much a cat lover, feeling the warm rays of sun upon her face she woke up and literally jumped out of bed wearing a frilly nighty, she ran down the stairs to see that her father Peter had made her a bowl of cereal, Amy was quick to eat the cereal knowing she had to meet Rebecca at the bust stop. Today was Amy's first day of college too, she had a quick shower before getting changed into a plain white t-shirt with a denim waistcoat unfastened, a long necklace around her neck and denim shorts with gladiator like sandals, her hair was wavy and flowed passed her bussoms, she got her bag together and put it on her shoulder before rushing downstairs
'See you Dad, oh and thanks for the cereal'
Amy called and watched as Peter walked over and placed his hand softly on her shoulder before kissing her forehead gently, he was the more compassionate one
'Amy. Be careful and keep an eye on Rebecca, you know what she is like'
Peter explained, Rebecca had a tendency to get angry pretty easily so if she did then she would give away they had abilities and would be branded as freaks, Amy nodded her head before running out and heading towards the bus stop, she saw Rebecca standing there and she ran over to her giving her a hug
'Hey Becky, how are you? Are you as nervous as me?'
Amy began to babble on causing Rebecca to roll her eyes and simply nod her head, Rebecca watched as the bus came over and parked in front of them
'Of course I am nervous Amy, what if someone finds out about us?'
Rebecca whispered the last bit and Amy simply patted her shoulder before getting up on the bus and paying for a ticket, Rebecca did the same thing and they both sat at the back, this was it... how would their first day end up?
