"As tradition the Malfoy family set out tasks for prospective brides to evaluate their worthiness of entering such a grand and noble house. This is your task Miss Weasley," Narcissa explained, gesturing to an oil painting propped up and a blank canvas beside it. "You have exactly one hour and forty five minutes. You may begin." Mrs Malfoy walked out of the room with a dignified grace about her. Ginny on the other hand just stared, utterly gobsmacked at the task layed propped up in front of her. A loud gulp echoed in the impressive drawing room, Draco snorted. "It's not bloody funny!" she hissed.

"Your right Gin, it's not funny-it's bloody halrious!" Draco laughed, Ginny elbowed him in the ribs and eyed up the task set before her. "My my my. Our Ginny, great chaser, fantastic duelist, brilliant in the sack, but she can't even paint...Tut tut," Draco shook his head, grinning.

Ginny rolled her eyes,"Look it's your family's bloody tradition to put their son's bride-to-be through these damn trials-not mine! Now are you going to help me, or have me suffer the fate of your mother's wrath?"

Sighing, Draco pushed himself up from the wall and strode over to the helpless Ginny. "And what stupid artist would paint a woman with no eyebrows anyway?" Draco chuckled at Ginny's frustration.

"That my sizzling little sexpot, is one of the most famous paintings in the world-the Mona Lisa." he replied in a sophisticated manner.

"And I have to paint it because...?"

"Because as you said, it's my family's tradition to put prospective brides through these tribulations,"

"Bloody toffs.." Ginny muttered.

Draco let the comment pass and directed her hand with the brush,"Splotched if you must, but not lumpy!"

"Whatever Mr fancy pants-now look what you made me do!" Ginny exclaimed as she had now given the Mona Lisa a green mustache.

"Get over it," he teased and with the tip of his green finger added a stroke of green to Ginny's fair complexion.

"Oh no you didn't!"

"Oh yes I did!" And with that Ginny pounced on him, sending her portrayal of the Mona Lisa flying.

"Your mum is so gonna kill me," Ginny laughed as she had straddled her self on top of Draco.

"So what? I'm marrying you either way Red,"

"Is that a fact ferret?"

"You bet it is," And Draco sealed the deal with a sweet passionate kiss.
