"Whats this?" She mumbles to herself atop the step ladder.

Two small eyes blink back at her from atop the bookshelf, narow pupils and a yellow green color topped with sharp little horns. The creature was fuzzy and almost spider shaped, though it was the size of a softball, with spindely legs that numbered ten. Dust caked it's fur.

Now this girl wasn't particularly brave, she wasn't particularly tough, nor was she loud, as a matter of fact what this girl really happens to be is alone. The short cooing of the creature echos through the great library devoid of students as the girl blinks back with a look of confusion. Her petite frame shifts and the ladder teeters beneath her, wisps of pale blue hair fall into her gray eyes.

She steps down a step to steady herself, then back up to check the shelf again. With a muffled laugh she stares at the creature for a moment before reaching her hand up to it and lightly brushing off the dust. "No need for you to be all dirty, hm?"

The creature coos as if in reply before leaping off the shelf and onto the tiny girl who lets out a soft whimper before tumbling backwards off the step ladder with a loud clatter heard by almost noone. Books fall like rain from the shelves hitting the girl who sheilds the creature with her body from the barrage.

Somewhere higher up in the library a head of silver shoots up from the railing it rested upon, purple eyes scan the rows of shelves below trying to locate the offensive sound that woke him. A soft rustling causes him to pause on the reference section before he steps down from his perch atop the railing on the second floor.

It had been sometime since the HiME star had been destroyed, yet here Nagi stood, back in this land of Fuka. Strange things had begun to happen with the Oufan again, and he, who had grown quite a bit, was back in this place to find out why. He brushes hair out of his face with a yawn, walking slowly down the stairs expecting to find nothing, as he very rarely saw anyone in the building.

He could smell it before he stepped off the last stairstep, something was here. Oufan. He tried to laugh it off but curiosity got the best of him as his feet moved forward to the reference section. He could hear the cooing before he rounded the asile, the rustling of books and paper.

Blood trickled down the girls cheek from where an encylopedia caught the side of her head in its fall, her grey eyes dart around the mess, her arms still holding the fuzzy creature to her chest. "Damnit." She mumbles letting the creature go.

The creature skitters around the pile cooing and scratching at the books.

"Hey now...don't make more work for me." The girl says shaking her head and standing slowly. She brushes off her skirt and straightens her jacket noticing the blood that had fallen onto it. "Ahh...thats gonna cost me to get out..."

Footsteps could be heard getting closer, the creature again leaps onto the girl, this time getting into her jacket, before disappearing. The girl blinks confused as a tall silver haired male rounds the corner and bursts into laughter, pointing at her.
