"Thanks for watching, guys! And remember: Don't just write a story, paint a picture. Au avoir," a sweet British accented voice came from the screen of Jack McLaughlin's computer, making him smile the moment he saw her bright blue eyes as the video faded to her end card.

He sighed in contentment as he closed out YouTube and sat back in his green gaming chair, a smile clearly present on his face.

"That was pretty motivating," he spoke to himself as his phone dinged him out of his frenzy. He looked at it seeing it to be a text message from a very good friend, in a group chat of three.

He took his phone into his hand and opened it up, looking at the text with a smile.

JENNY: Hey Jack! Hey Cliff! It's been a while!

Jack smiled with excitement as he went to reply, only to see Cliff responded first.

CLIFF: Yeah it has! How have you two been?!

JACK: Wow! This is a blast from the past! I'm good! How about you two?!

CLIFF: I'm great! Remember the girl I told you about, Jack? Taryn? Well we are finally together!

JENNY: Oh I'm so happy to hear that!

JACK: CONGRATS MAN!

CLIFF: Thanks

Immediately, Jack's excited face fell in disappointment and sorrow as he thought back to his ex. It was a decent break up, don't get him wrong. But it still hurt to think about it at times. And this time was no exception.

CLIFF: What about you, Jenny? Do you have a boyfriend?

JENNY: As a matter of fact, I have a date with a charming boy later tonight.

CLIFF: Awesome!

CLIFF: Jack, I see you've gone quiet. You okay?

Jack grinned at Cliff's concern, as he started typing up a response to his two new friends. It was hard to believe it had been a year since they met each other.

JACK: Yea, I'm fine. It's just with all this talk about you two being in relationships, it's sort of bumming me out a bit.

JENNY: Oh, I'm so sorry, Jack! I forgot!

CLIFF: Forgot what?

JACK: I recently just split up with my girlfriend. You know who, right?

CLIFF: Oh, yeah! Sorry, forgot about that.

JACK: It's fine, guys. It doesn't sting like it used to anymore.

JENNY: Well that's good!

CLIFF: How about a topic change? What do you think is happening in Wireland right now?

JACK: Wish I knew. I've played some new games recently, so who knows what is going on.

CLIFF: I bet Bendy is there now.

JENNY: Yikes! That would be scary to see.

In an instant, Jack's phone dinged with a news alert. He opened it up and almost passed out at the phrase he saw, worry now spreading through his veins.

'Famed YouTube Singer, Dawn Arnette, found in house passed out.'

CLIFF: Please tell me you guys are seeing the news feed?

JENNY: I just saw it! I hope she's okay!

JACK: This is crazy! I just watched her latest video!

JENNY: Me too. She's the one who inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and ask out the boy I'm about to go on a date with.

CLIFF: She's the reason that me and my girlfriend are together as well.

JACK: I just hope she's alright. She has so much impact from what I'm seeing on YouTube now.

After a while, the conversation died down and Jack was left to his thoughts. Left to the thoughts of if Dawn was well. He didn't know her personally, but he always watched her videos. Always read her tweets. Always read whatever new story she had published on Wattpad. Always watched her sing in her videos. He was indeed a fan of hers.

"I just hope she is a fan of mine," he said as he spun around and left his recording room, heading straight for his living room. Once there, he turned on the TV and found the news channel right away. The top news was about Dawn Arnette.

"The latest favorite YouTuber, Dawn Arnette, was found in her home this evening passed out in her recording room," began the news anchor. "There has been no reports of a struggle happening before the young singer became unresponsive, and her mother has come on record to say that she had no major health issues. She did, however, say that when she found her daughter passed out on the floor, her computer was on and was showing static in a very...strange way. This news seems to have also leaked out to press and was posted on Twitter, with now a dozen retweets and comments wishing her a fast recovery."

Jack sighed with a stiff nature of worry, and with concern in his ocean blue eyes. He definitely knew how his fans felt now whenever something happened to him, or whenever "Anti" got "ahold" of his channel. And now that he thought about it, Dawn practically did something similar to what he did in his videos of bringing Anti into the real world, and not just have him on a piece of paper.

"What was her dark side's name again?" he asked himself as his phone went off with his ringtone, making him look down to see Mark's number had popped up on the screen. He immediately answered it and put it to his ear. "Mark?"

"Jack, are you watching the news!?" Mark exclaimed from the other end, and Jack could tell that there was worry in his voice.

"Yeah, I am!" he yelled back. "I was just telling...uh, a friend, that I was just watching her latest video! The one on motivations!"

"Oh, I was getting ready to open that up when I heard the news! I sure hope she's okay!"

"Do you know Dawn personally or something, Mark?"

"Yeah. Amy and I both know her," Mark answered. "When you came out in a few weeks, we were going to introduce you two."

"Wow! Match Maker Mark is on the case of setting me up with someone new already! How did I not see this one coming?!"

"Haha, funny"

Jack chuckled at Mark's response, before his face fell again at the thought of Dawn and seeing her unconscious form, laying in a hospital bed, on the TV screen before him. Seeing that just sent him over the edge and made him turn off the TV set quickly.

"Well, I was just wondering if you knew about her state since you live in Brighton, and she is British," Mark declared, getting Jack out of his frenzy. "I need to go. Amy's calling. I hope Dawn wakes up soon."

"Me too, Mark. Me too," Jack said before they hung up and the brown haired gamer walked back into his recording room, plopping into his gaming chair and swiveling side to side for a moment. "What am I doing?" he blurted out. "I don't even know her, know her! Why am I so worried that she could be..."

Just then, his computer turned back on, making him jump a bit and turn towards it. On the screen was just his wallpaper and what he had been working on before finding out about Dawn. But there was something weird going on with his screen. It kept going black and back, and then it would static as well...kind of like his "Anti edits".

"The hell?" He then reached out to his mouse and grasped it...only to have darkness take over his vision and the last thing to be heard was evil, staticky laughter.
